Two Predators in the same area...it's bound to happen. Aligators and Sharks are no different.
but like why tho? like a lion cant feel threatened by a cheetah can it?
Like the guy said, the Cheetah should have been paying more attention instead of just....lion around.

Since it was a Lioness, it was quite possible it was going to eat it.

@aerokinesis: All Animals have territories. When another Predator enters a Apex Predator's food chain, The Apex Predator usually attacks. (Apex Predator, the Predator with no natural Predators) Cheetah's are preyed on by Lions and Tigers and Jaguars (Granted they're probably not in the same chain as Jags)

Heheee yesss ^__^
There's a couple of them right here were I live. I'm always somewhat confused at assumptions about animals motivations, and particularly the comparison to humans motivations and designs, something they clearly do not even have factored into themselves. Lions like to kill. They like to hunt, and they like to kill. So do Cheetahs for that matter. It's not unethical nor bullying as those things are human inventions and don't even apply to them. Nor any of the other reasons given to justify their case. Likewise, because they don't need justification, that's yet another human invention that they don't own. There is no good or evil, better or worse, ect, in the case of most animals, there just is, and nothing more. Not rationalizing to the OP, given motivations it's too improbable they are actually offended by this, lest they wouldn't be so affixed and wanting to share a video of one animal killing another? If one wants to rebuke me on this, I say again I deal with lions. Try justifying to them, and furthermore, try and figure out their motivations and work around them in an effort to not incur a violent situation with them involving yourself. I can tell you for fact that all of that logic and education will fail flat if the lion is intent on killing you, as they will attempt to do so regardless of any so called " facts ", which are things they themselves really don't even know of in their paradigms.
As my coworker just said when he looked over my shoulder, "Lions didn't become king of the jungle from doing nuthin'."
@SuperTide:
Tigers are built better (stronger and even more agile) despite the lion's bigger size. Tigers are lone killers and the most fierce fighter of all big cats. Lions are the king of their natural habitat and almost never challenged in there so they tend to be kinda lazy. At least until it's hunting time.
Tigers don't always beat lions in their encounters but they're less likely to submit when they do encounter. Even up against multiple lions. That's why it's more common to hear people describing fierce fighters as "fights like a tiger".
Just keepin it as real as possible. I actually like lions better cus the are the Kings but I gotta tip my hat to the tiger.

Dang. Impessive stuff. Thanks.
It's funny that someone has been asking a lot of lion questions through my blog. I'm looking at you, SuperTide. =P =P =P =P
Anyways, I'm also not a big fan of lions because they aren't faster than cheetahs, which I like. (Do not ask more questions on this. Only one or two is enough. xP)
