Following in the footsteps of others, this is a place where you can ask me absolutely anything. No question is off-limits, although if I deem it either offensive or wayyyy inappropriate (trust me, I have a very high inappropriate threshold), then I will either ream you a new one (in the nicest way possible) or simply not answer your question.

Heels or flats?

#2 Posted by Mercy_ (92632 posts) - - Show Bio
@Jake Fury: Flats. I'm INSANELY uncoordinated.

@The Dark Huntress: I don't see how anyone walks in heels.

#5 Posted by Mercy_ (92632 posts) - - Show Bio
@Jake Fury: I can do it, but only if I have to. They look pretty. :P

@The Dark Huntress: What is your favorite state in the US? ; )
#7 Posted by InnerVenom123 (29499 posts) - - Show Bio

A man walks into a bar.
A train leaves the station at 4:35pm central time.

Ten months later, he wakes up in a hospital bed.

What color are the sheets?

@The Dark Huntress:

Train A leaves Romeoville at 8:00 a.m., traveling at 55 mph toward Julietteville. Train B leaves Julietteville at the same time, heading toward Romeoville at 35 mph. If the distance between the two towns is 337.5 miles, what time do the two trains pass each other?

what's the most awkward situation you've ever been in? :]

If you're really a sheep.  On a scale of 1 - 10, how fluffy is your coat?

Also, how awesome do you think Billy Batson is?  =]

@InnerVenom123: Aren't hospital sheets usually white or blue? He was in a hospital, so I'm assuming that there was a nurse either on bedpan or catheter duty. :P

@Pr_Beyonder: Head explodes. I already passed high school math. Don't plan on doing it again. :P

@Edamame: That's a tough one. I haven't actually visited very many. I've been to every state in New England and to Florida when I was 3 1/2. I really enjoy living in Massachusetts, but some of my best memories are from New Hampshire.

Alright then, let's do some calculus to repair your head >:D

A plank is to be used to reach over a fence 8

ft high to support a wall 1 ft behind the fence.

Write an equation for the length of the plank as

a function of the angle the plank makes with the

ground.

Nah.....you don't have to answer =)

@The Dark Huntress: I love Vermont and western Mass.  New Hampshire is nice, too. At least there isn't a sales tax there.  Green Mountains and White Mountains are beautiful in the winter.  Maine in the summer is brutal because of those horse files. LOL

Do you happen to live near Lenox, Mass.? There is some institution called Cushing Academy. Ever hear of it?
#15 Posted by Mercy_ (92632 posts) - - Show Bio
@Amegashita: 1. My coat is super-fluffy. xD 2. He's pretty cool. Haven't read a lot with him in it, though.

@ragdollpurps: Oh boy. That's a tough one. Hmmmm. Oh, OK! This is more embarrassing than awkward. I was in high school and I was walking down one of the main flights of stairs to the cafeteria after getting off the bus. It had been raining outside and the granite floors were wet. I managed to slip and then trip over my own foot and fell down the flight of stairs.

@Edamame: I'm usually up in New Hampshire during the summer. My Mamie has a house right on the main Channel of Lake Winnipesaukee, right near Paugus Bay. Lenox is prettyyyyy west from where I am, although I have heard of Cushing Academy.

Yeah! I even was fortunate to go to a day where international cuisine was served. Food from all over the world. It was great and the food was delicious.  It has a nice campus as well and isn't too far from Boston. I like Quincy Market the most.

I'll have to check this out one day. Boston is a nice city, and I haven't seen enough of it.  Some people tell me to stay away from some areas of South Boston. LOL
#39 Posted by Mercy_ (92632 posts) - - Show Bio
@Lance Uppercut: Hmmmm. I don't know. I think it would depend on what breed the horse was, what their coloring was, stuff like that.

@CDviper: Go for it. I'm not guaranteeing answers, though.

@The Dark Huntress: Guinness is good. Because if you see something like that, you'd look at whatever bottle of beer you were holding (in my name, Guinness), and just take on long, long swig.
