If you could add a additional continent to the earth and be the Emperor of it would you do so?

That depends. Do I get to rule it as a first world nation or are all my people poor and uneducated? If the latter then it would be way too depressing. Also can I have at least a fair amount of natural resources? Some good energy producing options would be great, maybe some nice tourist spots. Can I craft the culture myself or do I have to hae a crapload of religious fundies that I just want to die?
