...how would you react? Or how would you react if your son told you that? Seriously.

#2 Posted by Yung ANcient One (4596 posts) - - Show Bio

I wouldn't give a fffrrrrrfrr ROCK. To be completely honest. I would think your lying but then wonder if your not and decide that it doesn't matter so I wouldn't give 2 $#!%s.

Who cares? :) A person is a person. A friend is a friend no matter what they keep in their pants. That is their business.

Except for the son part. How would you not know your own son is transgender? O_o

I really, really wouldn't care. What you do with your sexuality is your own business unless you're hurting other people against their will. Otherwise it's not my concern.

I'd give you a hug and thank you for being so brave to admit that and I'd support you all the way. Just as I'd do with anyone else. Everyone deserves happiness and to live life as their own.

@the_last_son_of_czarnia: Ah I think I know what you mean, like what if your kid came to you and told you they had decided/realised (not sure of the correct term) they were transgendered? Seriously, there is nothing that could stop me loving them, as long as they were happy :)

@the_last_son_of_czarnia: it depends on how you look

Cause believe it or not a friend of mine who's a girl is smokin hot and then I found out she was transgender and I was like your still smokin hot so yeah it depends

P.s she doesn't look like a man just so you know

People can identify as transgendered before coming out. Like the son would know that she was female, and then come out to you as being transgendered, and planning to transition.

Anyway, to the OP, I'd be fine with it. I see no good reason to have a problem with someone being being trans.

To be honest I would think you would be lying. Think your were seeking attention and think the post would be irrelevant for the forum since it has nothing to do with comics. Therefore I would need some prove before I would believe.

On a personal level I don't care about and it is peoples own business. If a personal feels that way they should go for it. People should as long as they aren't hurting anyone do what makes them happy.

#26 Posted by Deranged Midget (17599 posts) - - Show Bio

@v_scarlotte_rose: Yup. I've had two friends come out as transgenders thus far, both admitting that they've felt that particular way their entire lives. Their decision's have not hindered my choice to remain friends because honestly, they are still the same person. It's their life and if they felt restricted with who they were, then all to the power to coming out and becoming who they wanted to be.

You know what? i would totally prank my son.

I'd be like " OHHHH NUUUUUUUUUUU, WHAT DIS? WHY YOU DO DIS?"

and then pat him on the back and say that he can do what he wants to do. and give him a hug.

Not having any children that I am aware of, I'd question THAT. If it all checked out, I guess I'd be the proud parent of a brand new bouncing baby dickgirl, or whatever the term for the feminine opposite is.

If it was a friend, I'd be cool with it. It's fairly irrelevant to a friendship, I would think.

If it was my own kid? No lie, I would be a little concerned. I'd still love my own kid definitely, but it would be a hurdle to overcome and accept.

I would respect it....but I'm not calling you a girl or 'her' at all. To me that would be disrespectful to what women go through.

I think it is fairly common not to known one since they aren't that many transgender. You can still have an opinion about it though.
