As the title says. If Hilary Clinton wins the Presidential race, what will Bill Clinton be called?
The "First Man," "First Guy" or even the "First Husband" ???

First Gentleman
First Gentleman?
Sounds about right
The Man Pulling the Strings.
lol
The man who made Hilary relevant. Or, the Second man. The latter depends on whether Hilary has an affair in office.
Mr President because that's what all US ex-Presidents are called. Big question is what a non-ex-President male spouse of a future President would be called.

Really? That must be pretty awkward if you're talking to multiple US ex-presidents at once then :P
I don't want to think about it. I'm not against a woman becoming president, I just don't want that woman to be president. She'd be just as bad as any of the guys running against her considering her tendency to change her political views as often as people change socks.
@maccyd: Yeah it's weird. So when people say it's a big victory that a woman outranks her husband rather than the other way round, although that's true practically in terms of power, it's not true in terms of customs.
@joshmightbe: Agreed, considering how on my side of the pond she's portrayed as a Democrat messiah, it's funny how she used to be a Republican.
@mattydavehalpeo: She's just your standard politician, just look at how she dealt with Iraq, at first she was all for invading even voted for congressional approval then the second it became unpopular she came out acting like she never supported it in any way. There are tons of examples of her doing crap like that but her supporters act like you should just forgive it because she's a woman and all that does is make the women who are actually qualified to be president look bad.
@joshmightbe: Agreed, it's a shame.

In Canada, the marital partner of the Prime Minister is simply referred to as the Spouse of the Prime Minister, and even then, I don't think we put much thought to her outside of her just being his wife. She has nothing to do with the PMO (Prime Minister's Office), so it's a moot distinction outside of when he visits other countries in an official capacity and his spouse is expected to accompany him. Also, Prince Philip is officially the First Spouse sotospeak since Queen Elizabeth II is officially our head of state, followed by the Governor General of Canada (whose spouse would also "outrank" the Prime Minister's marital partner).
Tradition is tradition, I suppose? Perhaps First Spouse would make more sense? I guess the "match" would be First Gentleman.
Silly stuff, really.
