I can't say whether or not it is okay, because it felt good at the time and I still feel good about it. No regrets, I'm afraid.

It isnt average. But it is normal. Basically, the popular/attractive guys with a lot of self confidence will most likely do it then or a year later. It is also perfectly normal to be a virgin until 25-26 if you never felt like doing it or if you just havent found the right person. But either way. It is happening and US is trying to keep it illegal for no actual reason.

The simple answer is a clear no.

You could go on about all sorts of difference between men and boys, that the boy won't think it's that bad, bragging rights, etc but you have an adult who has sex with a child which could lead to pregnancy.

Adults are suppose to look after children, not engage in a relationship which should only be between equals.

You could also bring up examples of a boy or girl who is 16, clear of mind, wise beyond there years and with a body that is more adult looking than most adults but it doesn't make a difference, we can't really make exceptions based on technicalities when it comes to the law like that.

I do like a lot of the hypocrisy people have though. They say "courts aren't harsh enough" who do this, but the praise male students for having sex with their teachers. The courts have a double standard, but society is hypocritical.

I do however think it's kind of irresponsible/unprofessional of the teacher. Not like I would have lectured one of my younger more attractive teachers if they offered to have sex with me when I was in homeschool. Then again, I would have been but an innocent victim.
