I have two plans for a zombie attack. The first one is that some gas stations around me are made out of bricks and their bathrooms have heavy steel doors with sturdy locks, and since the store itself is an enclosed area with many obstacles I doubt they'd have enough numbers to break the door down. Anyway, I was thinking that I could ransack all the food and hole myself up in the bathroom where there's running water... I would like to have some automatic weapons though, if I have time to find any. I have my collection of swords on hand, they should work the best. Zombies have almost no intelligence, reasoning or problem solving skills and have very poor motor functions (but are capable of small bursts of speed), I can easily slip past small crowds and cut them down without drawing attention with loud bangs... guns basically say "here I am." But a fully loaded gun is best in crowded areas where it doesn't matter how sneaky you are. And as long as I keep taking out small groups they can't become a large group.
Err, so basically my other plan is to have a small but decent selection of weapons (guns, swords, and blunt instruments) and just keep moving, not letting myself get cornered. I'd also want to wear thick/heavy clothing to make it hard for a zombie to chomp on me if I do get surprised, but nothing cumbersome... free movement is important and I don't want to get too hot, and maybe some sports gear for added protection (like a helmet). Water and long-lasting food would also be needed, but I'd mostly stop at deserted homes and stores to eat and drink so I can save my rations.
Maybe I'll join in with mob and do some zombie control too, but that could be dangerous if there are scaredy cats and/or trigger-happy folks there, meaning they'd eventually sabotage or even turn on each other so I might be better off on my own... doing my ninja stuff.
I'm not sure if I'd really want to try to help survivors, groups have a harder time maneuvering in and I'd more than likely be faced with the same problems as the mob, especially since "survivors" probably aren't going to be as confident as a mob. I also couldn't protect all of them... I might end up killing them myself out of mercy if they're too much of a liability, if they can't take care of themselves then they'll ultimately end up getting me or others killed. I know it may sound heartless, but I don't want them to suffer the pain of being eaten alive and I don't want them to become zombies themselves. It would probably break my heart to kill them since they aren't "players" like me... goes against my code of honor. And killing them infront of others would also just create distrust and hostility towards me, and secretly killing them would just raise suspicion with the others and ultimately lead to the same problem.

That is a good idea, but you need keys, and you'll also probably be stuck in there with hundreds of criminals... what would you do about them?
