IceCream So Hard It Bends Your Spoon?

I was trying to get icecream a while ago , & it was so hard my spoon bent :(

Did you realise that there was no spoon? I hear that's the only way to make them bend.

Put your spoon in the microwave and heat it first.

Buy an Ice cream scoop or let the Ice cream sit out for a bit before scooping.

I prefer to run the spoon under hot water for a minute. Works well enough.

@jedixman: Also doesn't bring up the possibility of having to buy a new microwave after the spoon ruins your old one.

I always unbend my spoon but every time i do it gets weaker , then it breaks , then im there like .... "ehhh i got tons of them" xD

@hispanic_aaron: Precisely, or get three more spoons for a buck at Wal-Mart. The dollar is worth the dignity lost at trying not to get your spoon to break. Also your technique is likely sloppy -- you have to attack it from the edges and sides.

^^This, I do it all the time, and I've the same spoon for years and it hasn't broken.

Another good way to get the ice cream to soften is to pull down your pants sit down and place the ice cream container between your thighs.

Spoon under hot water and done :)

When you first notice a spoon bending from your ice cream you have the following options:

A. Indeed unbend it and run it under warm water

B. Go to sleep

C. Eat with bent spoon (makes the scooping easier anyhow)

D. Freak out and yell "MY ICECREAM HAS PSYCHO POWERS" and slap the next best person you see
