Bought a PS4, Darth Maul: Son of Dathomir, Batman 31, and Watch Dogs. I also got the hardcover edition of Path of Destruction because I my paperback is jacked up.
I went on a shopping spree.
@kgb725: I get paid again Friday. I had to splurge just this once.
@mr_clockwork91 Will do! I'm too busy playing warframe honestly lol
@eisenfauste Were they worth it?
@darthaznable: Due to the reviews they got on Amazon they should be pretty good, I have to wait till friday to get them I think, I just bought them yesterday lol, I already have like 13 warhammer 40k books, but I need moar!

PS4; Psshh! Watch dogs: need to tell me how that game is.
It sucks.

...
@mr_clockwork91: Naw, but it really depends on what you are looking for - it is getting very mixed reviews right now. From an RPG stand-point the game is not very good, but if you are the kind of guy who enjoys stealth and micromanaging skills or are very into online play I think it could be okay. (I am the former so cant talk to much about the latter but that part seems okay)
I went on a shopping spree
I bought 2 medium packs of haribos, 2 lollipops, a packet of skittles and strawberry laces.
Yeah I know, I must be rich...
Being 11 sucks...
@mr_clockwork91: Lol You're gonna listen to mixed reviews? If they're mixed that means people like it, others don't. Like every game. Reviews =/= your enjoyment of the game. If you like open world games, then you'll like watch dogs. I say rent it for yourself to see how it is or borrow it from someone. It's a very simple game in terms of hacking but stealth requires patience. I like it more than GTAV but that game wasn't San Andreas like I wanted it to be so I got let down easily...It has some pretty accurate parts of Chicago though so I'm surprised.
@darthaznable: I'll probably end up liking it since I'm just simple minded like that.

@darthaznable: I bet you had fun ^_^
@darthaznable: Do you like your PS4 so far? My friend is selling it to get a X1, since the exclusives are meant to be better.
@maccyd: It's a very clean system and works like a charm. It does what's it's supposed to do which is play games. The small stuff like the touchpad, built in mic, etc. The graphics are better too so there's that.
Why not have both? How are they "meant" to be better?
@bruxae: I doubt many people would buy it, expecting something similar to Bioware or Bethesda's games, though.
Yeah, I didn't research the game much before buying it, so I figured it would be like GTA with hacking and stuff. But I ended up with something that felt like a poor mans assassins creed, or Remember Me.
@darthaznable: The games are typically more positively received. PS4 still doesn't seem to have a "good" exclusive yet, they seem to be mostly mediocre. I used the word "meant" as entertainment is subjective and no matter how many people say the Godfather is good, there's always going to be someone who says it's bad, everyone is different.
@bruxae-I see, I always imagined it to be a futuristic Assassin's Creed as the gameplay from the trailers seemed similar to the series.
PS4; Psshh! Watch dogs: need to tell me how that game is.
It sucks.
Don't listen to Bruxae. The game lives up to the hype in my opinion and most reviewers agree the game is very solid and at the very least 8/10. Great gameplay, graphics, and story with interesting characters make it a 9/10 for me. The feels in the game hit hard also.
@maccyd: Neither console has a good exclusive yet. InFamous is good for people who didn't play the first. Killzone is really good but the MP isn't rewarding in terms of unlocks.
@thitiki It has actually gotten 8+. A few 7's. http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps4/704529-watch-dogs/critic Kind of surprised as it isn't that wow but still great.
@darthaznable: You planning on ever getting Second Son? Watch_Dogs is worth it though definitely doesn't suck.
@thitiki: Nah. I watched a playthrough. Wasn't impressed with anyone but Reggie. I really didn't like the main character and from the looks of it there wasn't as much to do as there was in previous games. But yeah, Watch Dogs is great but people were expecting next gen GTA which was never the aim in the first place. I like it more than GTAV though.
@darthaznable: Ahh I see I like Delsin more than Cole aha thought he had more personality. And I agree I see people comparing it to GTA V when it isn't the same at all. I find Aiden more interesting than Michael and Franklin but Trevor is one of my favorite videogame characters. :P
@darthaznable: Titanfall is getting good reviews at the moment as is Forza 5 (Both are over 80 in Metascore). Killer Instinct is getting good reports after the content season has finished and updated. On the other hand, PS4 has a better indie game selection and Infamous isn't doing too bad in reviews. To be honest, I trust Sony more to keep a steady inflow of exclusives since last gen Microsoft had a variety of IPs at launch but gradually began to rely on Halo/Gears of War.
Which next-gen titles are you looking forward to? Personally, I think the Order and Quantum Break looks the most promising.
PS4; Psshh! Watch dogs: need to tell me how that game is.
It sucks.
Any reason why? I keep hearing that it's kinda scripted and linear and the music is horrible and that Aiden is a one-dimensional character.
@maccyd: But reviews don't always equal good game although I see where you're going. Both consoles had super weak launch titles. Ryse, Killzone(as much as I love it), Knack and I might be missing one but still, just didn't bring anything new to the table besides pretty graphics. 360 had some gems though. Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, Tales of vesperia, Magna Carta 2, and Star Ocean 4. I honestly preferred those JRPGs to the ones on ps3.
The only games I'm looking forward to are Tom Clancy's The Division and Rainbow Six Patriots. Mass Effect and Witcher 3 are also on my list. I want to know more about the Order before I even considering getting my hopes up. I'm a huge Witcher fan (update his wiki on here a lot) and Tom Clancy does amazing games and books.
Edit: Also PS4 supports more PC titles like Planetside, Warframe and a DayZ type game coming out.
@darthaznable: If you're interested in JRPGs next-gen, it seems going portable would be the best option. Beside Final Fantasy XV and maybe, Deep Down, there's not really much announced for next-gen home consoles.
You interested in Dragon Age: Inquisition? There's some interesting features such the reactive world and faction management. However from the interviews, it sounds like the main reason EA gave the go ahead and promoting it is to cash in on Skyrim's popularity, similar to Battlefield and Call of Duty.
