I really miss a good Fanboy outrage....

The last really great one we had was when Jesse Eisenberg was cast as Lex Luther, and that was a while ago. I'm talking about 200+ of angry comments like F-U DC, or go F yourself Marvel... Most of them are over casting choices, but once in awhile a writer can cause a real $#!% storm (Dan Slott)..... I love reading unhinged nerd rage, and I want some more of it. All I feel that I'm left with is two A-holes fighting over who would win in a fight between Superman or Goku.... I herd DC is about to announce a crap load of new movies, so fingers crossed. I'm sure whenever they announce who'll play Aquaman the internet will be ablaze......

you'd be surprised. DC has this whole "Aquaman is badass now!" thing. meh

@allstarsuperman: yeah they're trying to push him a lot but he's still pretty much the sane character to me. Being a king is badass but hes nothing compared to other comic kings and gods and only has power over the sea. Not exactly what I would call badass.

@jayc1324: He's not bad at all, I am not a hater that only knows his robot chicken and family guy versions, but actively trying to make him badass, at the expense of other characters, is annoying.

@allstarsuperman: I don't think he's bad but he's not exactly great IMO and he's not that badass. I appreciate DC trying to push more characters but I agree they are going about it wrong and aquaman may not be the best character to start with.

@farkam: yeah. I know it was a sucker punch so it doesn't exactly count as a win but I don't like the direction DC seems to be going by trying to have him "beat" better characters to make himself look better. A real good character can be made good by theirselves

@farkam: @farkam: to an extent. But didn't he also take out WW as well. Then there's Oceanmaster's lightning which can one shot Superman and WW, but Arthur tanks it fine. Even back in the origin arc, Hal says AM is useless or whatever, then AM unleashes all those sharks on parademons, when in reality GL could make infinity more sharks that are a billion times more durable, that scene was lame.

No, he pinned her down for a sec then got kicked off, she was shot down by some Atlanteans. The shark scene was really cool imo.

I'm in the minority of those who don't dislike a lot of the casting of most actors to play a certain character. I'm one of the few who is pro Ben for Batman so I'll just wait and see who gets cast for what next.

I don't miss it because it gets annoying when people make 1000 different threads about it under the assumption it's okay because their single opinion matters over the other 999 other threads. For ever fanrage topic presented, CV should thumbnail a master fanboy rage topic so people can complain there rather than make multiple pointless threads.
