I had an encounter and actual fight with a physical creature who's form I could not comprehend. Whenever I looked at it I could see it, but couldn't grasp it's appearance. It also seemed to radiate fear and was clearly hostile. I used my serious anger issues (my friends call it my "unnatural rage" because they're convinced it's not natural. People claim they can feel it in the air when I'm pissed.) to get past the fear and attack it. After I hit it, it oozed away in a direction I'd never seen before.

My Mom said it was a demon, my friends said it was an extra-dimensional predator, my Dad said there was probably a logical explanation after failing to come up with one.

My life is weird, but that was some Lovecraft s*** right there.

I've never even had nightmares that came close to that level of messed up.

This.

Also, I agree with your dad.

@humanrocket: Depends on the sandwich. I wouldn't want it on a PB&J or a banana and peanut butter.

Did you smoke or ingest something prior to said encounter?

The human mind is actually pretty powerful, with the right stimulant it can let you see what you want to see (Also applies to other senses).

Bigots? What?

I am not saying that someone will definitely do it (since I can't see the future),but it's possible that (especially on the "civilized" forums) that someone will call her "dumb" or something along those lines because she said that it was a demon....but I digress, how often has this been going on?

How would that make them a bigot? Bigot is usually used in reference to anti-semitic or homophobic comments and attitudes.

This is the only time I've ever had something like this happen to me.

I think our psychiatrist, @hannible_lecter_geist: could help you out.

#41 Edited by buttersdaman000 (10829 posts) - - Show Bio

Were you sleeping, or really tired before the 'attack'? I ask this because i've had seemingly real hallucinations in both states. I obviously rationalized them as imaginary, but still, in the heat of the moment, I thought it was as real as anything. It usually happens during sleep paralysis, but there was also this other time when I was deathly tired. I had been up studying for 3-4 days with only 4 hrs of sleep a night, and on top of that, I had been going to wrestling practice as well and cutting weight. On the 4th or 5th day, I could've sworn I was being attacked by something but really I was just leaning over the counter.

Seriously though, you probably just didn't look at correctly or something. Always a logical explanation, even if no one knows what it is.
