At the beginning it was rough but because she knew I was honest she began to respect my decision making. Some times she would tell me to stay in but my senior year of high school she was cool with anything I did

If not, the plan with going to your friend's house and then going to the party with him sounds like it will work. If you get 'grounded' later on- so what?
