Are you talking real coffee or frappucino and lattes? I drink my coffee black and McDonald's is garbage.

I absolutely agree. McDonald's coffee has always been better. Starbucks' coffee is awful.

I disagree, and I frankly have to question your authority as a coffee enthusiast! Where are your essays? Your transcript from the University of Good Taste? Your high school diploma?!? Your birth certificate?!?!?!? Were you even born in America!?! The public demands to know!!!!!

Until then, I'm afraid I'll stick to Starbucks, and the beliefs of much more enlightened pockets.

Never had Starbuck's coffee because there's no way in hell I will ever pay 5$ for a cup of coffee.

#17 Posted by jloneblackheart (5486 posts) - - Show Bio

@joshmightbe: Only $2 for a regular coffee. Their dark roast is pretty good.

Uhhhh...

I can explain

#26 Posted by JakeN7 (13256 posts) - - Show Bio

@lordmaverick: Yeah, because watching a dude make your coffee from behind the counter is so much worse than doing the exact same thing yourself.

Lolwut?

#27 Posted by AssertingValor (5467 posts) - - Show Bio

@jaken7: = way more expensive+ lazy

#28 Posted by JakeN7 (13256 posts) - - Show Bio

@lordmaverick: Have you measured how many beans you grind at home and how much each bean costs? Nah nevermind, I know Starbucks is more expensive, but don't pretend someone is lazy for not having the opportunity to brew a cup at home. If the dude at Starbucks let you go behind the counter and work the machines yourself, would you complain about it being lazy then? It's just a silly, silly, silly complaint.

The real problem is that Starbucks is too darn expensive

#30 Posted by AssertingValor (5467 posts) - - Show Bio

@jaken7: doesn't matter any body can pull a couple levers and say have a nice day, making it yourself benefits yourself not billion dollar companies

@lordmaverick: Or it benefits the struggling barista trying to make rent. Leave a tip next time so you feel better about yourself, Mr. Fight the Man, Say NO to Big Business, Eco-Warrior.

Starbucks is crap. They only know how to make the frozen coffee. Second Cup rains supreme. They make the perfect balance of espresso, milk, and whatever else you include in your coffee. Starbucks usually either tastes like milk or water. If you're talking about the normal cheap coffee, then your opinion is invalid. Also, I'm part French, so my credentials exceed yours.

Of course. Buying one thing, and calling it another is a sign of a fancy product. Have you never heard of Canadian bacon(ham, for the unenlightened)?

D*mn. You have me there, good sir. I still stick to my guns, however.

I drink coffee black. I've had both and don't really care for either. I like my coffee really strong so I just tend to make it at home.

Lots of cream and 2 bag sugars. Yours?

#47 Posted by Fallschirmjager (18967 posts) - - Show Bio

I don't like coffee, starbucks or mcdonalds.

#48 Edited by The Stegman (26056 posts) - - Show Bio

I get mine from Dunkin...but I have to put tons of cream and sugar in it to make it tolerable, I hate black coffee.
