okay, im a 16 year old male and have a major crush on a 19 year old female and need advice on what to do. should i ask her out or should i just get over it and be friends. I really like this girl and need help figuring out what to do. i dont want her to get ostracized or get in trouble for being with a underaged male. WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!!

I feel bad for you, son.

You could ask her out, but depending on the age of consent wherever you are, I would say wait the however many years and stay friends just so you two don't have a constantly scrutinized relationship

Well, one thing. Think about if you want to be friends with this girl before you ask her out. If it doesn't work out, it could make your friendship with this girl pretty strained afterword.

I don't know how it is in the USA but this age difference (19 and 16) isn't that big of a deal where i live. I'd say go for it if you like her =)

I kind of agree with that statement... She'd get a lot of flack from her friends about you being younger and there would be a lot of jailbait comments.

Actually, I know one of both. The one with the 18 year old guy and 14 year old girl stopped a long time ago, the 18 year old girl and 15 (Now) is still going..he's a sophomore, and she's a college freshmen.

Get over it. Any 19 year old girl willing to date a 16 year old guy is either ugly or not mature(or both).

Unless you're comparably maturer than your age - in which case you wouldn't be asking Comicvine for help with this problem.

I think it's better that you learn that you can't chase, or even admit your feelings to, every girl that you like. Self-control goes a long way in life.

First off, best of luck considering that older women almost never date younger guys. Second of all, you can't be afraid to step up and get turned down. Just ask her, if she says no, shrug it off and move on. You're 16 for christ's sake.

I'm 23 and the oldest I've dated was 37. She didnt look a day over 25. I met her in college, we got along great & still hang out to this day. Although, there is something about you not being an adult that I am sure she wont be able to get over. In other words she'll put you in the friend zone. But dont let that get to you bro... plenty fish in the sea.
