There I said it and here's why
1. Not scary, their slow, weak and stupid
2. Most zombie movies are terrible
3. the original zombie stories were even less scary than the movie version
I hate Zombies
I can't understand how they got the horror movie cred they do when they're possibly the least intimidating monster ever they're like people only they're falling apart patience shouldn't be a valid way to kill a real monster cause seriously just wait about a day and whatever zombie was chasing you has probably already fallen apart due to be eaten by bugs.

Zombies are crazy scary. Crazy. Crazy. Scary.
Zombie movies rock.
The older the creepier!
Zombieland is on my list of top ten best movies eva!
edit to add;
Oh OH and Walking Dead books or TV show so incredibly fun & fabulous.
I'm terrified of zombies....I understand that they're slow but it's the horde part that bothers me....usually in media we don't see the one lone zombie but instead the horde of hundreds or thousands of them...they don't get tired like us...you may run away and think you're safe and take a break but they'll keep coming for you no matter what
And you wouldn't be scared if your mother tried to eat your face?O.o
The way I look at it, in most "decent" zombie films, the zombies themselves aren't really the monsters. More often than not, it's about how, in a crisis, people become monstrous and prey upon each other for their own survival. I tend to look at zombies as more of an environmental hazard, like a natural disaster.

I have always thought this until I saw 28 Days Later. Technically they are a different type of "zombie" but I was sold with that interpretation. I have drawn zombies often, and people seem to like them, so it is a concept that is actually enjoyed by more people than isn't. As far as being terrifying, yeah, I hear ya, and plenty of zombie movies have bitten donkey dong, but there have been a few movies like 28 Days and 28 Weeks, and the parodies like Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland which have made the genre entertaining.
Besides, what about these Zombies....
G-Man Zombie.
Captain Cascader Zombie
Why would something have to be wrong with me for not hesitating to kill something that's trying to eat me if my mom becomes a zombie she ain't my mom anymore so its not like I'd actually be killing her
Old school George Romero movies were boss, such as Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, even Day of the Dead. After those, his zombie movies went to crap. The remake of the Dawn of the Dead was also good. Resident Evil made zombie games brilliant fun. They're scary not because they shamble slowly, they're a psychological scare, you could be facing your dead grandma who wants to eat you alive, or other members of your family you love, neighbors, etc.
I love zombies.

- A Zombie is just as strong as the person it used to be, they have better sight, hearing and sense of smell than we do, underestimating them like that is what gets so many people eaten/infected
- Personal Opinion, every Genre has their good and their bad
- again, personal opinion
I like the concept of zombies, but they aren't often pulled off that well... Most of them seem to be more for demented fun rather than actual horror.
i don't hate zombies, but the slow ones are annoying, however fast zombies/infected like in 28 days later, the Dawn of the Dead remake, and [REC] are scary as hell
