I finished Death Note last night

It's one of the best anime I've ever seen, and I can see why it's so popular. Everything I have to say about it has already been said, so I'll just list some of my favorite things from the series.

It's my favorite manga/anime. I love everything about it (accept Near). And I like the scene you posted, it's one of the few times in the show where Light gets utterly pwn'd.

I never watched an opening of any show more than fifteen seconds if I can help it, aside from GOT & The Sopranos.

If I do it more than 4 times a year, my lungs implode.

let's see.. I remember watching rock the dragon, shippuden's first opening and death note's first opening, plus bleach's opening in rescue rukia art.. probably one or two inazuma 11 openings. Tv show ones are shorter, and catchier though. So I don't skip them the very second they start playing like anime ones..

I hate watching openings to shows, whether it's anime or not (even Game of thrones I skips, despite the epic music). That's why I like shows with intros 10 seconds or less, like Walking Dead, Supernatural, Breaking Bad etc. Though Death Note's openings were fantastic Nightmare and Maxium the Hormone ftw!

That's not so much of an opinion, but objective fact. :P

It was still good after that though, just not as good as when L died.

@the_stegman I hate The Walking Dead one, it drags on forever and isn't even slightly enjoyable. Breaking Bad is awesome because it's literally about 5 seconds.

I liked it a good bit, cool premise, just never really got too too tutu deep into it
