Hulk have taken a lot of thought lately into Japanese film franchises being converted into American films. We see it all the time. From The Eye, to Dragonball Evolution, 2 Godzilla movies, and the upcoming Edge of Tomorrow (based off a Japanese manga). It left Hulk thinking: Why doesn't Japan try to adapt an American franchise? The only 2 that Hulk of that have done it are Spider-Man and Paranormal Activity:

Japanese Spiderman

Japanese Paranormal Activity

So, Hulk have created a list of American franchises that should have Japanese Adaptations

Number 5: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

No Caption Provided

This would actually make a lot of sense. Especially considering the turtles are learning a Japanese style of combat and the fact that they're fighting a Japanese villain. Hulk think it would be interesting to see what Japan could do with this.

Number 4: Alien or Predator

No Caption Provided

Hulk personally think that either one of these movies may actually make an interesting Japanese remake. Some of the Predator weapons Preadator uses makes Hulk think of samurais at times. Hulk think it would be cool.

Number 3: Superman

No Caption Provided

Well, we always tinker with Japan's most famous characters, why not let them try to take on one of ours? Hulk don't know how popular Superman is in Japan. But, if he's not, then maybe a Japanese remake of Superman would boost his popularity there.

Number 2: King Kong

No Caption Provided

Yes, Hulk know they have a version of King Kong in King Kong vs Godzilla. But, Hulk am talking the real King Kong. Our version. The True King Kong. Hulk would love to see Kong climbing up the Tokyo Tower (or that bigger tower they replaced it with recently, the Tokyo Sky Tree). Hulk think it would be truly fascinating to see Japan take on America's most famous American-made monster.

And NUMBER 1: The American franchise Hulk want to see adapted into Japanese:

THE HULK!

No Caption Provided

Bet you weren't expecting this one were you? Hulk want to see Hulk get a Japanese version. Hulk would love to see how another country would portray Hulk's amazing likeness. Plus, like Superman, Hulk don't know how popular Hulk and other Marvel people are in Japan, so maybe if they're not, it could boost popularity. That would be cool.

NOW HULK WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

Do you agree with this list? What American franchise would you want to see an Japanese adaptation of?

They did have a Japanese Ninja Turtles. It was essentially like Power Rangers. It could be argued that Goku is Japans version of Superman.

Superman would be interesting but Goku is as close as you are gonna get to a japnese version of Superman and they have a LOT of similarities already. Yes, Goku in the original Dragon Ball was based in the character from Journey to the West Sun Wokung, but after you get to Z you learn his real origin and the parallels with superman become a lot more apparent Clark Kent/Goku is not human, he is in fact an alien from a planet that was destroyed shortly after his birth (sounds familiar?), his spaceship crashed in the middle of nowhere and was raised as a human and is becomes basically the biggest boy scout in the planet. Now he is one of the last of his species and the only survivors led by their leader (who considers himself superior to our hero because of status that odesn't mean anything anymore now that almost his entire race has been destroyed) come to erath and he has to stop them.

I thought King Kong already got a reinvention in Japan when he faced Godzilla at some point in the 50s. However the Hulk could work as a symbol of nuclear destruction of Hiroshima just as Godzilla did but of course he would be a human.

IIRC, there actually was a TMNT anime (except it was never officially released internationally).

I agree with all except the Hulk. Hulk isn't strong enough for the Japanese.

@thehulk: @rogueshadow: Isn't there already a Manga version of the Marvel U? Where the Venom is an evil, demonic entity and Spidey is the last remaining member of a Ninja Clan.

And Tony Stark is a girl and the Hulk is 100 ft tall.

I remember reading it when I was younger.

Hulk do not know what you're talking about. Hulk searched for it on Google and Hulk found nothing.

Yours truly being 100 feet tall?
