Well. Bending makes guns and what-not useless 50%

I was thinking, if guns were introduced in avatar(remember, this is a show that has had on screen death and genocide, so I see no reason to believe why they couldn't have weapons).

So before you say "guns would make bending pointless", remember this. There are metalbenders, firebenders(and we all know how hazardess gunpowder is around fire), and waterbenders(wet gunpowder is pretty uneffective). So how do you think guns would fair in the Avatar world.

They also already have weapons on the show. E.g. electric gloves and swords....Robots that shoot fire.

Guns specifically would even the odds for everyone. Obviously people are very quick and agile in the Avatar universe, but the reality is that for the vast majority-- a bullet is faster than one can actually react to. A sniper rifle specifically doesn't allow one to react(if used correctly), so not sure how important people, benders, or even the Avatar could survive with serious enemies.

It would be like allowing everyone to do what Kuvira does with her metal bands, except with less control, lethal, and probably quicker.
