How to fix Jar Jar Binks

I don't want our future generations to watch Episode 1 and think that Star Wars sucks balls.

So how can this movie be remastered without filming new footage? I propose a few ideas.

1. Replace Jar Jar's voice with a deeper one, like they did with Vader and James Earl Jones
2. Mute him. Make it seem that he speaks only in body language and that everyone surprisingly understands him.
3. Completely delete all, or most of his scenes. He plays no relevant part in the story. I'm thinking particularly of the lunchtime scene on Tatooine.
4. Voice over his talking scenes with Ewan McGregor speaking about some cool Star Wars lore.

What other ideas do you have?

How about we just pretend Episode I doesn't exist in general? We sure ain't missing much by doing so.

Jar Jar is too far gone.

E1 had plenty of redeeming features, all washed away by this one horrid character.

Ehh. The only good thing about it to me was probably Darth Maul. Anakin sucked, Qui Gon-Jinn sucked, Obi-Wan was underwhelming, the plot wasn't that great, Padme was meh, and they were many snooze worthy moments in the movie.

While Qui and Maul are dueling....Jar Jar is responsible for locking out Obi. Turns out he was a secret spy for Palpi....by the end of Episode III Anakin and Palpatine reward him for his loyalty.

Hence, a secret villain.....either that or make him an idiot with an annoying personality. Oh Lucas, you missed out.

I like Jar Jar.

There is no way to fix Jar Jar

Just take him out the movie. It would've been a great film without him.

Decapitate him, that would fix most problems

@doctorxander: One character doesn't destroy a movie. The entire movie itself was pretty bad outside the Maul fight.

Wait are you saying the prequels would have been good if not for Jar Jar? Because I remember a ton of other problems with them

I liked the prequels and Jar Jar doesn't really bother me.

I never really understood why he was there, he's such a weird, random thing, it was totally irrelevant. Just one of those things where you wonder how on Earth nobody thought, "Holy sh*t, this is awful"

Then again, they probably did but nobody would dare tell Lucas.

Jar Jar Binks was one of the things I did like from Star wars.

you should make how 2 fix Starwars i got a lot of suggestions

Have him get eaten by the Rancor.

Episode 1 was my favorite. Just kidding, but I don't think it's a bad movie. I liked it and Jar Jar wasn't bad. His voice was kinda annoying. "Misa Misa"
