You use all of your brain, but not at the same time. If you used all of your brain at the same time, you'd die.
Also, Batman.
If you only used 10% of your brain you'd be severely mentally disabled and probably wouldn't be able to read or spell or go to the bathroom by yourself.
@Users: The poster above me thinks he knows what I'm talking about... We'll see about that!
@joshmightbe: Do you know your entire post is completely and utterly wrong? You only use ten percent of your brain at any given time, and you never use 100% of your brain at any single moment? How about you post some valid sources (I.e. not Wikipedia) and actually educate yourself a little more than what you learn from Fox News.
@Users: Now.... We wait. I've got my hidden cameras in place, ready to catch his reaction on film. This is going to be great.
You? 4%. :)
That's cold

Alright then - there should be a 12% option (hope you understood the MARVEL reference)...
@The_Deathstroker: The 10 % of your brain thing is a complete and utter myth. If you are a normal functioning person you never use less than 30% at any given time. Its true that most people also never use 100% of their brain all at once. If you did use 100% of your brain all at once you'd probably have a seizure due to sensory overload.
@The_Deathstroker: LOL. You do know that human only using 10 percent of their brain is a myth right? No one who is knowledgeable on the human brain would think we only use 10 percent of it.
Since we're on the subject, has anybody here read the book Incognito? It could help a lot of people with their misinformation.

THANK YOU :D!
You use all of it, but not at the same time. The 10% was just a theory/myth. The different parts of the brain do different things. There's both voluntary and involuntary.
If you could use only 10%, you'd either only be able to breath and think involuntarily but can't move voluntarily, or you can only move voluntarily but have to think "breath in, breath out, breath in, breath out" because your involuntary doesn't work, at which you would die since birth because the baby's mind can't do that 24/7; nobody can even do that, especially while asleep.
@dccomicsrule2011: I'm pretending to be a YouTuber that thinks he's hilarious and smart, but in actuality just makes himself/herself look like a fool. @joshmightbe: Ehh.... I'm too tired to try to carry on the act. The top part of this message should explain it.
40%, 50% and 70% can never be achieved by human kind at any given point in time
@retconcrisis: Sci-fi writers are literally the only reason anyone still believes this myth.
@The_Deathstroker: LMAO. I kinda figured that after reading the Fox News part. :P
@dccomicsrule2011: Lmao, yep.
xD
