Nothing lasts forever. With the way the population is expanding rapidly some population control is bound to happen sooner or later, whether by government enforced programs, mass slaughter, or global natural disasters. No matter what, we're all dead. Eventually all things come to an end and that means humanity is going to go as well. How long do you think we have left as a race?
How much longer do you think humanity has left before dying out?
Actually, recent studies show a declining birth rate.
When Michael Bay's Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles comes out.
Cant say how long this race has left. One thing is for certain though. The Earth will breathe a sigh of relief once we're gone.

billions, people get smarter everyday (some at least) soon we will see just how stupid wars are.
Exactly, I hope that one day our world becomes something like the future of Earth in Superman: Red Son.
Depends imo aslong as even after WW3 there will be people on this world that care about their fellow man & do the right thing till our Sun dries up, but probably by then if Earth isnt destroyed we will have the tech to leave & populate a new world.
Either one of the following
1000 years maximum due to war.
5000 years maximum if we don't kill each-other but kill the planet.
If we survive more than 5k years we will not be the human race anymore, we will have evolved to be a different more tolerant species that is capable of so much more.
Millions of years. The dinosaurs were nowhere near as dominant as us humans are on Earth, and look how long they lasted.

Dinosaurs however, did not have thermonuclear weapons that cause fatal levels of radiation pointed at their fellow dinosaurs.

true, i guess as long as we can keep from destroying each other we should last pretty indefinitely
I presume you are talking about how long are we going to survive and presume that we are going to be wiped out some way?
Eventually humans will not exist not in our current form anyway,we will eventually evolve again. And when I say eventually I really do mean eventually.

Hopefully not before we invent hoverboards.
2015 guys. Just a little more wait.
@Setherial: If nothing lasts forever, than it just has to become something else in order to last longer!

There are 7 Billion of us....

and an asteroid on its way on the 15th.
?
The asteroid is not a threat.

I had a dream about that last night!
I didn't hit us, but it was so close that looking at it moving across the sky, looked as big as the moon (full moon).
I think it's just a case whether or not we destroy each other through some sort of technological means as opposed to any natural extinction event, it seem a bit too much like hard work to allow evolution to take a further step that we may leave behind our somewhat more basic and destructive elements that are wired within our nature.

lol you're not being serious are you? Just because you had a dream about an asteroid doesn't it is related to this or that it is going to reflect future events.
