My one rep max was 290.
How much can you bench press
@laflux: Have fun. As of lately, I've been military pressing your bench :P.
Ouch.

Getting in here @monsterstomp! Make fun of Laflux!
@wolverine08: Uh.... dude I did say how much I can lift, but it isn't in the OP.
222 lbs. for one rep.
Holy sh*t. I'm like 4 years older than you and i'm not even close to that, are you serious?
And that's just with his right arm!!

@cameron83: Thats a good starting weight.
I have yet to test my one rep max bench press, but don't really care. I'm just working my way up slowly. All I know is I can bench a little over half my weight.
I weigh around 120, used to be able to do 135 for 1 set of 12. (actually with proper form) but doing it the way most people seem to think counts as a bench press 185 easy.
But my labrem is torn in my right shoulder and my rotator cuff in my left. so I don't do bench anymore and would probably be lucky if I could do 100(proper form) the way most people do their bench prob still like 140.
135 lbs on a good day. I'm immune to shame on this topic considering I've been lifting with some pretty buff dudes for years. I'm a bookworm, and a pretty happy one at that.

Yeah, I started back during the middle of when I was 13. I'm about to turn 15 this April. All that hard work pays off :D
I thought you were like, 30..

Maybe if you're comparing yourself to some pansy like Wolverine or Captain whats-his-face.

Don't hate on the muscular dudes brah. Let them inspire you!
Considering that I box, I can't use weights.
Really? I don't know much about boxing, but I thought weightlifting would be beneficial for you guys.

Eh, it varies for different people. Some incorporate it into their training, but some don't - I feel it slows me down. I'm naturally big anyways.
@wolverine08: I'm seriously considering bringing God_Spawn into this thread just to shut you up, but I shall relent........... :p
lol
Now who knows....but in high school when I worked out every day literally for 45 minutes, my max was 160(I weighed 124 at the time) I was actually little under weight but I was like a wolf, slender, medium size but athletic and strong. I used to take out all the kids twice my weight in arm wrestling since I loved doing it.
I hated bench pressing, we had to do it once though at least for a "max lift" as part of our final grade.
Now dumbell lifts and pull ups I used to do all day long lol, I had the record for most pull ups in the whole class of 20. Only did it once though lol, now on my iron gym I'm 150 roughly, getting into it again I have to do sets of 6-8 lol in my older age.

yeah my bench is pooh but I could do 26 pull ups in school and 106 pushups but i'm real skinny.
@youmessinwithme: Yeah I was very slender, still am for my age, size etc I'm where I should be I can do lots of push ups now and pull ups just not as much as I did when I was 18 lol
@wildvine: Oh don't talk like that. Negative reps means the bench press lifts you. And for me it's 80. I'm a runner and free diver not a weight lifter.
Maybe it does. Maybe my entire work out regime is me running from an overzealous work out bench.
