in buu saga goku was holding the strongest metal in the universe with one hand and threw it.

I dont know if that makes it weigh alot or not. Im just wondering.

Who knows.... And yeah, this is coming from a DBZ fan.. I don't think it's ever shown how much exactly he can lift.

Around 160, 000 tons speculatively. Factually, we never see him lift more than 40 tons.

I have a question on this. The whole 40 tons on king kais planet right? Was it 40 tons to start with? If so then it was really 400 tons right? So he should be able to lift much more than 160,000 tons in ssj3 or 4.

It was Grand Kai's planet, not King Kai's planet. Its purely speculation to assume that Grand Kai's planet has the same gravity as King Kai's. Frankly, I feel like 160,000 Tons is extremely generous, considering there is no evidence showing he can lift even nearly that much as a matter of fact.

@houseshm:A metal being strong doesn't mean it weighs a lot.

For example, Wolverine's skeleton is coated in a nigh-indestructible metal, yet it only weighs a bit over a hundred pounds, IIRC.

Goku's maximum lifting strength has never been shown, I don't think.
