How do you send PMs?

Everytime I try to pm someone, it will ask for the subject, but it wont let me type any messages.

Any Idea why?

@ImmortalT1000: Doesn't matter if you're the only one having the issue. You still should report the bug and hopefully the issue can be resolved.

I doubt if it can be resolved. The Mods cant even get a profile back to an account, let alone solve this.

@ImmortalT1000: Unless you're actively messing with CV's code somehow I highly doubt you're gonna get in trouble for reporting a bug.

And if you think you're not allowed to PM due to some rule related thing, then you should have gotten some kind of message if that was the case.

Look by the icon on the left of the user name, and click "Send a PM" that is right under the "Follow". Works better than using the traditional method that show a little box.

I have and it ask for a subject, I put that in, but it wont let me type anything at the bottom and the submitt button never works.

@ImmortalT1000: Then it's a bug and you should report it.

Just remember to list your browser and all that good stuff when you do. Makes the problem easier to fix for the tech savvy guys.

That aint gonna work, the same thing happens when I make a brand new account.

Might have little effects on things.

Your browser is just what program you're using to surf the internet. (Chrome, Firefox, IE, all that jazz)

Well yeah, IE Is the only way to get on CV.

There's ya problem i'd say. Switch to Firefox or Chrome. If that don't clear it up, tell a then report in the bug reporting forum.

This is a negative. I'm using an old version of IE at work and I can PM just fine. I can't use the text editor (do to lack of support), but I can enter basic text and manually code things like line breaks.

Just type a subject in the subject box, it's like an email, just you can't send it without a subject.

Ok, I downloaded chrome and now it's working fine.
