How do you insert youtube videos into threads on cv?

I tried to do so using the video embed thing and it gives a message about it not being supported or something.

Copy the link or just copy a video (at a specific time) then go to insert video and then copy it on there

Yeah posting videos is something that is rather picky...

only http links work not https.

for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKX9rEEgb0I won't work.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKX9rEEgb0I will work.

also if you script block you have to allow scripts from embed.ly (I can't confirm or deny the safety of this so at your own risk.)

also a sacrifice to your local moon deity may or may not help as to whether or not the post will work.
