My J-Hip Hop has been, quite, enjoyable.  I've been thoroughly enjoying it.

Young Money is horrible.

Underground Rap/Hip Hop is the way to go.

Immortal Technique is BEAST
and I like Nas too.

You also can never go wrong with some old school throwback stuff. (Tupac, Twister, Ja Rule,)

Haven't been enjoying it much. Although there have been a few songs that I like, many of them I find repetitive or annoying.

This. Also I'm good with that one Diabolic. But mostly I just go with old school, much better.

Pretty much feel the same. There is better production in this era, more creativity and more ways to reach people. Then again 90's hip hop was like the golden era of rap. It's evolved and diversified since then. It's become a different monster. Mainstream rap now is the worst representation of a deep music genre. I hate that this is the face most people see and call rap but that's just the way it is. Underground/indie has the talent to go toe to toe with the previous era and not get knocked on their bums. Thing is most emcees of this generation have borrowed ideas and have been inspired by the previous one so there is some respect there. I love this generation but have mad respect for the past. I call a draw with the new school getting the edge.

It's cool comparing though. Big L vs Celph Titled. KRS-1 vs Immortal Technique. Nas vs Elhzi. Black Thought vs One Be Lo. Run DMC vs Black Starr. Outkast vs Cunninlynguists. Mobb Deep vs Demi-Gods. RZA vs DOOM vs El-P. Beastie Boys vs Cannibal Ox. Tupac vs AKIR. Public Enemy vs Dead Prez. GZA vs Rass Kass. Whoever vs Canibus. Well, you get the point.

Check out J Cole if you want good music. Drakes old music before he went mainstream is good too.

I've been hearing good things about Odd Future. Slaughter House is dope. Freedie Gibbs. I just hate artist popularity like Gucci Mane, Lil Boosie, Waka Floca Flame, OJ The Juice Man, Plies, and all these other minstrel show actors. Yeah, if you want that good hip-hop, you have got to go underground because the mainstream is all about not taking chances and just giving the people the wackest music possible.
