How come all of a sudden there is much anime threads

I mean the latest months there has been so much anime battles on the Battles forum that It gets annoying, can't we all just return to the good o'l Marvel/DC threads?

1. There's always been a pretty healthy amount

2. You'd be hard pressed to find a Marvel vs DC battle that hasn't been done in some shape or form

3. Diversity is a good thing

4. Comic Vine is actually an amalgam of the original Comic Vine, Giant Bomb, and Anime Vice.

I suppose, then again its a matter of personal interpretation. I have really enjoyed the few manga series I have read. I personally prefer it over comics that I have had the pleasure of reading. But at the end of the day that is my personal opinion and no one has to agree to it =)

@leonkarlen123: Umm where you here for the ban lift? The first page of the battle forum was either comics vs manga or manga vs manga.

@leonkarlen123: Manga vs Comics were not allowed for a while. So manga battles stayed on anime vice. But the ban lift changed that.

Isn't obvious? They're here to take over our American comics and "anime" them. If it's not stop, we'll eventually have the Avengers set in a bishounen-styled high school, and the Fantastic Four becomes a harem-style story.

Why all the hate then? Both are great in their own verses. Me I prefer DC/Marvel comics but slowly I'm gaining some interest on the Anime side of this site and how good their characters/storylines are. What I hate are the straight-up fan wankers.
