Trying to push me off my turret? Not going to happen. Now if you don't want to debate about it stay away.
Ps:Its not because both name are being wrongly used now a day means they are the same thing.

I'm already aware of your brainwash but it doesnt mean i'll do the same with my laundry... One claim United Statiens of North America are Americans because there's no America but how could they be Americans if there's no America (Without the prefixe North/South)... A other claim United Statiens of North America are Americans because of their history but America origins take seed from the South (Not talking about the Slave Owner-Lincoln war) and yet they don't officialy own the ''Americas''(Conspiracy whise they ''do'')... A other one claim United Statiens of North America (Its weird how they doesnt have a real name) are Americans because some call the English peeps Britains but the two are not the same and two wrong wouldnt mean a right... The later call the continent Americas but yet the people living in the Americas are not Americans (Don't ask me why)...I'm losing my time with you but this might bring a other one to talk so that's not a total lost. My conclusion is that United Statiens of America are Americans at the same title as Brazilians (And other America located countries)...

@ccraft: more like United States (in) America
@AssertingValor: You're wrong
@thenaughtytitan: Murica is an insult to real Americans who died for this country.
@ccraft: Actually I think it's an insult to Texan Republicans...
@thenaughtytitan: Murica is an insult to real Americans who died for this country.
They died so I can say murica! Quit tryna take my rights away boi!
@mandarinestro: @mandarinestro: Know we're attacking American heroes? smh...
@thenaughtytitan: They died so they wouldn't have to look at your face!
@ccraft: how so? In the Pacific Ocean there is a region called Micronesia, and in that region there is an island nation called The Federateded States of Micronesia, every other country in Micronesia is still Micronesia
The Americas are named after Amerigo Vespucci, an Italian explorer and cartographer. At the time when Americas got their name, they were still largely unexplored and therefore viewed as "the brave new world" rather than two distinct continents, therefore America, not Americas. You could look for some connection there.
Also, USA is a pretty awkward name by itself (no offense). That's why the citizens of USA are mostly called just Americans. Now imagine USNA, that's even worse.

So your argument is that they should be named Americans just because their real name sound like toilette?
He levels of stpupidity in this thread amazes me next someones going to say mexico's not in America
Dude... Before you insult someone, please make a valid argument before. Peoples from the States claim there's no America (Except their country) but two Americas (North and South).
Confused by this question, I am.
Why?
He's just mad that Canada is part of North AMERICA.
And USNA is not?
Still stalking me as i see... Try to proove me wrong if you disagree with me ^_^.

@rouflex: Nope, my argument is that certain things develop as a part of the cultural background and if certain sorry individuals use that to boost their ego, I say let them. Other than that, I don't see any reason why you should be annoyed by USA being called America and its citizens Americans.
Being overly politically correct is just plain annoying and useless.
But you implied something.
America sucks.
Only good thing about it are the comic books.
The United Statien of North America gouvernment do suck (And the Elite) but lets not stereotype the population.

How can there be America if there's only 7 million people on Earth?
Checkmate.
@nickras: Seem like a very opiniated and argument-less comment but we are both in a free country so...

Your comment is invalid, get yourself a pepsi and something...
Pilasy:La Voix d'un homme
@rouflex: You've pushed it. You crossed the line.
How can there be an America if Earth has only existed for five thousand years?
@rouflex: I'm sorry but when people say that Canada isn't part of America is a major face palm moment it's even their own continent you would think they would at least know basic geography, I was expecting someone to call me out saying that Mexico isn't in America either, it seems the education system there doesn't focus on world events or geography as much as in Europe
