How can i get stonger to protect myself?

Hey guys,i needed to make this thread to know how to get stronger in order to protect myself from bullies.Please,i need to get stronger because someday im either going to get beat up or in the hospital.

Fights aren't weight lifting competitions. You should still find an exercise program designed for strength, but the most important thing us learning how to fight. Something like boxing or krav maga to be useful in real life

Start exercising, taking nutritional supplements, and eating a healthy diet; that idea did wonders for me, albeit inadvertent; than, take self-defense courses such as martial arts; get into MMA.

If you think an attempt at a beat up is pretty imminent, than I'd suggest getting some type of pepper stray and an electrical devise; from there, or about there, you should let someone on the school staff know that you're being bullied and specifically who is bullying you, sparing no details.

@stealth_warrior: Idk man, I was always the tallest/strongest guy growing up, However, I was nice. See if you can get a nice big friend, I know a couple guys I stood up for, and they never had problems after that.

No problem, and if there is anyone you suspect to "bully" you, you can probably bypass it by going up to them and striking a conversation, and be nice, or try to help them out. If that doesn't work, and you have no chance in winning the fight, still show up and get your butt beat. People will only pick on you if they think you aren't going to fight back, if they think that you will hit back, and you are generally a nice person, they will leave you alone.

But having big friends is nice too, I must have scared 20+ people off one of my friends. He was small, but he had a mouth. :D

@stealth_warrior: General body conditioning is a good place to start. If you're considering martial arts, be judicious in your choice of school, boxing is a great way to develop conditioning and have a solid fighting base. You don't need to be a world class fighter, knowing how to throw a punch and protect yourself will keep 99+% of bullies from picking a fight with you. My dad used to say it only takes you beating one for them all to learn not to mess with you. I had (real) martial art training during my teen years, and I've only had to use it maybe twice in my life but you know I was happy I had it both times. That said the best way to avoid getting beat up (or fighting in general) is to avoid the situation if possible, sometimes that's not an option and if it isn't you can be prepared.

What you need to do, it is what my friend told me awhile back, if you can't beat them, join em. Now that is easier said than done, but there are two methods you can use. You can change the attention on someone else, basically transfer the curse onto some other poor soul, or you can simply make it not fun to pick on you.

For example, if they call you names, laugh and say "good one man" "hey wanna hang out later"? Or something like that. Now if they have disliked you for awhile now, and that won't work, simply ignore them.

If all comes to worse, just say you're gay, and tell the Teacher (after class) that they are picking on you since you are gay. That will remove the snitch aspect (turn it into a hate crime) and get everyone to love you.
