Hooters & Twin Peaks: What do you think?

If you happen to walk into a "Breastaurant" chances are you aren't just there for the god damn food. I mean there are plenty of nice restaurants you could go to and get a decent meal that doesn't feature half naked girls. SO, what do you think about them? Good Food, Bad Food??? Ladies? Those of you who have worked there, what's your opinion? These type of places are actually doing very well financially as the rest of the restaurant industry struggles. Is this a sign of the times or just a fad? Tell me your thoughts people. Are dudes that walk in here lame, thirsty mofos, or are they just typical guys?

I didn't realize Twin Peaks was a breastraunt until right now; makes a lot of sense in hindsight. I'm not a clever man.

Their food is good, though.

Hooters has great food.

And we don't go in there for the girls... That's just a bonus.

They're alright, but I haven't been to one in a while. Going to Hooters, you're obviously there to look at some hot chicks and the wings.

The food is awful, the girls are too fat to be strippers, and they wont let me watch the game in peace

It's fine. I looked up where they're located, and the closest ones to me are in North Carolina and Michigan, both of which are incredibly far away from where I live, so it makes sense that I never heard of them.

Cool. I have to finish the show one of these days. It's a good show, but I have to be in the right mood to watch it, or else I get bored, for some reason.

@jedixman: I think that's probably just cause it's dated. I usually have to watch older shows while on the computer or eating dinner.

I heard the wings are good, but I don't really care for the bewbs. Not that I don't love bewbs, its just I go to a resturant/Bar to watch football, eat and chill out. If I want to catch wood from looking at tits, I would rather be in the privacy of my own home :P

You have to be a desperate Beta to go to a place like that. If you want to get chicks don't look at every girl walking down the street. It shows that you have no problem getting hot chicks and are used to it

Twin peaks is a good show

Food is good most of the time but on the slow days, the cooks at my local Hooters are lazy as hell. I think places like that get their fair share of slimeballs but it's not as often as you might think. Surprisingly enough, it's usually filled with people from some kind of business convention, families, and groups of friends of both genders.

Fight nights and major sporting events make the place pretty fun, though they have started taking a cover charge on those days.

I have no idea why Tilted Kilt isn't being discussed here as well though. TK murders Hooters in every way. Food, environment, women. Everything is better at TK.

Anywho, do you think this is the future of Restaurants for the majority of them? Or is this a simple fade? I guess it's shocking for me to see how many families are going in here according to the news and peoples personal experiences.

@lukehero: I don't know if it is the future of restaurants but I do know that this type of restaurant is here to stay. Hooters blazed the trail more than 30 years ago. So it clearly has some strong lasting power and now they are one of the more common restaurants with almost 500 locations nationwide.

With Tilted Kilt and Twin Peaks, it could be argued that this is the way the trend is going. People like to eat sports bar types of foods and they love being served by beautiful women. It's really quite brilliant marrying the two.

Yeah, why not. I have a few friends that work at Hooters where I live and they actually like working there.

Fun autmosphere, mediocre food (about expected for most places), and a good place to hang out with buddies.

Location really does matter cause all the hooters and twin peaks have been to are sh!tty. So i dont doubt some of the buffalo wild wings you have been to may not have been to good standard. What state you live in btw?

@those_eyes: AL. The one in Montgomery was very poorly managed. It's coming back to the city and I'll give it a fair chance though.

Twin Peaks was a great show in 1990 that ended with a ton of unanswered question but lucky enough the show is coming back in 2016.

Never been to either of them, but I have a friend that works at Hooters. I'd imagine people mostly just come for the nice looking women. Who would care about the food lol
