@rpgesus: “[Mexico is] sending people that have lots of problems, and they are bringing those problems to us. They are bringing drugs, and bringing crime, and their rapists.”; “I will build a great, great wall on our southern border and I will make Mexico pay for that wall.”; “According to Bill O’Reilly, 80% of all the shootings in New York City are blacks—if you add Hispanics that figure goes to 98%, 1% white.”.

raising taxes on middle class and above+raising minim wage+more welfare projects=screwed economy,

Ah, yes. Because as we all know, it was the regulation and municipalization of banks that caused the collapse of AIG and ultimately, the global recession. Not the exact opposite.

Honestly, I sometimes wonder if you people can even hear the words that come out of your mouths.

The equal pay for women is retarded crap cause again it got debunked so many times, only feminists still say it and they never provide any facts to prove it.

Well, you have nothing to worry about then, do you? If women are already completely equal to men, no precious resources need to be devoted to rectifying such an issue and we can spend them instead on tax breaks for the rich. Would that please you?

Because I don't feel like teaching people that refused to be taught.

And yet you go on to do so; if you can call that teaching.

Global rescission is different

Your argument was that socialism kills economies, when in reality it was the only thing that could have prevented the greatest economic crisis in history.

Saying 1 or even 3 things caused it is purely idiotic.

Then it's a good thing I was being facetious when I did so then, isn't it?

Herbert Hoover interfering is what caused the great depression, had he left the free market alone the problem wouldn't have lasted it that long.

Good to see your ignorance does not only pertain to the present day; Hoover was a proponent of trickle down and was diametrically opposed to government coercion. The only thing Hoover did that could be called interfering was when he urged business leaders to maintain production and wages and to not lay off workers, which was about as much help as you think.

I wonder the same too, then I shudder at the horror that these people are allowed to vote.

I was referring to you, Einstein.

Right cause someone lying to the public is a sign of a good president.

Well, it's something virtually every single president in history has done. So it's a sign of an average president if nothing else. Regardless, it's not a lie. The average woman makes 78% as much money as the average man. It's simply a fact.

Cause feminist only want equality not superiority.

Well, I'm a man, I'm a feminist, I certainly don't want either sex to be superior than the other. And considering I clearly spend more time with other feminists and in what you'd call "feminist groups" than you do, I'd like to consider myself a higher authority on the subject.

@rpgesus: So any illegal is a criminal? There are a lot of hatians coming to Brazil illegally I haven't seen any of them commiting a crime and most of them are working on jobs that either most of people don't want to do or we don't have the specific workers to do it. Mexico is not sending their unwanted to your country, the same thing happens in the USA. Do you know how hard it is to live in certain areas in Mexico? The Cartel rapes and murders lots of people, and the police most of times is bribed by them and the citizens doesn't have any defense, there are a lot of vigilante acts in Mexico due to their situation. Most people that go to the USA from Mexico are normal people who seek a job and better life quality. The only effective way to stop the drug business is to do the same measures that Uruguay did, that's almost a fact, if you build walls the drugs will keep entering your country, there are many other ways to do that and there's a lot of americans interested in the drug business (the profit is absurd). Trump is basically saying that the majority of Mexicans (even the illegal ones) are the people who ruin the USA, that's racist and not true.

About Mexico paying the walls, why don't the USA give to Mexico their original territory, aka the most profitable territory in America or even in the world nowadays?

And no, I haven't heard anything about Hillary being a criminal.

I'm more right-winged than left-winged and even I admit that Keynes saved the american economy, and some of its ideas saved the USA from 2008's crisis. Even MIT had an article saying that USA needs to implant more Keynes' ideas to its economy. Just curious, I've read the same argument in Rothbard's book and some Mises' articles, is that your source?

Not trying to take sides, but buy the very definition of the word illegal we can conclude that they all committed at least one crime (entering a nation illegally). So yes, any illegal is a criminal.

Just pointing out a technicality.

@sheenlantern: Yeah you keep trying to deter our debate by bring outside things.

Tell me how any of his policies benefit USA, then we can keep going.

As for your feminists group, ask them to provide actual evidence on the pay difference. Ask them why they ignore unequality outside of USA/Europe. Tell them that women in the western have never been freer and in the USA they have more privileges. What exactly is left for them to say equality to? Then we can talk feminism.

Your argument was that socialism kills economies, when in reality it was the only thing that could have prevented the greatest economic crisis in history

Will name some that socialism saved and made it blossom.

You are right and wrong at the same time.

Women in the EU/USA have never been freer, but sadly, this isn't real equality yet. For the same work, they continue to get less paid than men. They are more often passed by for promotion and all in all, you've just got to take a look to the rooster of the governement team, senate and parliament of many "western" nation to understand that equality is not a fact.

I don't know how you get that feminist ignore unequality outside of USA/Europe because they aren't.

Problem is, when you are a woman feminist in europa, you are often -But not everytime.- laughed at. When you claim to be feminist in Africa, Afghanistan or India, you can get shot. :-/

@edblank: what do you mean facts and logic when you just spewed nothing but garbage saying i was hate filled and wrong? and truly how dumb are you, whose going to be paying to support the street bums who dont work? oh thats right the middle class and the rich, and who gets affected the most? the middle class beacuse the rich have money to blow. so basically you want the hard working middle class to support the people who dont work? or are the people not working somehow paying for themselves? america is SUPPOSED to be based on equal OPPORTUNITY, which everyone has, not equal pay like you wealth redistribution loonies think. i know you live in a fantasy but youre gonna be real sad the day, hilary is absolutely wrecked in all the polls by people tired of your ridiculous views, its like a 12 years old world view where its only about what feels right instead of looking at FACTS AND LOGIC. now tell me one legal right gays and females and minorities dont have? you literally said you dont mind the government being run by nameless people behind the curtains screwing everyone... delusional

Dude. You are literally just making up things to accuse me of saying. Literally. Wealth redistribution? Back to the bums that I never mentioned? I see the words "equal opportunity" in your latest editorial. This is exactly what I believe in, so if you stop right there then you're actually a Demo too. But again, you add all this other stuff that you fear for some reason but that I never wrote.

This is not what we call communication. You have your talking points and I bet this is the sixth website today that you've shared them with. I told you you were gonna be pissed.

@edblank: im not democrat and republican, im a libertarian. also theres equal opportunity for everyone, the minorities could easily all work together to improve their homes, stop crime, teach their children better ways, make them stay after school and read books and study, they could encourage them to start a business like landscaping and hire their friends from the poorer neighborhoods, they could save money and move to a better neighborhood, they could control how many babies they have so working 2-3 jobs is a way to get out of the hood. theres opportunity. it just takes hard work, which is what america is about, not free handouts.

@sophia89:

Okay, it's very simple. Social pressure and presumtion is the keywords, here.

Women are paid less than man, because social pressure make them choose family over career.

When a couple has their first children, the woman often reduce her hours of works to "raise the kids" and take domestic duty that man often doesn't do. Because raisin the kid is the "thing that women do" in the opinion.

To stay at home with the boy is simply something that most men will not do, or even not think to because in general opinion, raising kids and domestic work isn't a "true work".

Which is laughable, because raising kids, cleaning house, etc is really a work unto itself, and hard with that. The more funny is that many people, women included, just doesn't know how really raise their kids. I worked with many women and men who simply counted on school to give them value, and were waaay too easy on them because they were just child.

So, in the end, she's slowed in her career, if not completely stopped. His husband continue to work, and the women are pushed over the low ladder of the hierarchy.

Women often choose politician who keep the statu quo because they're conditionned to that : for over than ten century, women status was only as good as the one of their husband. They were often, if not always, dependable on a man to their financial security.

Untill the late 70's, women in some part of western Europa couldn't simply open a bank account without the consent of their husband.

By this way, they tend to choose the same old choice, security over new things. After all, better a devil you know than the danger of a new era, no ?

Now, I admit thing are changing, but no so quickly.

An another point i the fact that many women choose to support patriarchal power by the same calculation that many people in some area, choose to support oppressive governement : fear over social backlash, loss of status (and money), confrontation, jalousy over other womens...

Again, try to find many man working in Kindergarten : I live in a city of one million people, where we have a chronic problem of unemployement and lack of worker for kindergarten. There's definitely a niche there, yet we are two, maybe three man in the city to work in this area of work.

A women who has children or not will ALWAYS find a job as a nurse ina kindergarten, but a man... this is another story. In the same veins, a women who will seek to find a works among miners or sewers ? I'm not so sure.

As the same way that it's almost no one will suggest to a guy to work in a kindergarten, the women will not be suggested to work in a mine. That's as simple as that !

I'm not sure there's that many guy working in USA kindergarten, too and where I live, most of nurse are women too as well as most of the directory assistant and I can go on for hours...

Lately, to save some money, the governement of my country decided to blocked the salary of the teachers, and that's women who will paid the price again, as teaching in school is almost fully done by women.

This will push most of the women to NOT try to divorce to their men if they want to. They will become sensibly more dependable on them.

So in the end, women form the back of society, without them, society would collapse, but their work aren't recognized because their job aren't well considered, if considered at all.

Feminist organisation in other place than europa and USA is quite tricky. Lately, Russia banned many international organisation because they were judged critical against the governements. China is the same, Korea, Japan, India north AND south are society hilariously stratified and wouldn't not permit those kind of things or put so much obstacle it's almost an exercice in futility.

And don't let me begin with africa or South america....

Feminist organisation don't ignore the problem : it's just very hard to make things move there, and they aren't supported by any system of justice anyway.

Rape is frightningly common as a weapon of war in Africa, almost never punished in many place in India because both of the scale of the lands and old mentality.

Feminism is often seen there as a colonial weapon by religious extermist and patriarchal warlords or political man and he doesn't get billions of dollar lobby to support it, contrary to oil or military industry.

USA and europa aren't piece of cake anyway : in Italy, Silvio Berlusconi had the habit to organize orgy with young teens prostitutes and untill the 90's, movies where the girl was showed on top of the guy in a scene of sex/love were banned untill lately : how do you think it's fare well for woman there ?

I got what you said, indeed they're "criminals", but just like the hatians in Brazil after they're living in my country and having opportunities to work, I have no problem with them.

I live in Brazil and the feminist organisation have a lot of strength here, our Universities (the majority of our humanities' professors are left winged, because almost all of thme fought against the right winged dictatorship that caused Brazil's financial crisis and was one of the most repressive governments we've ever had) are the biggest supporters, thankfully the media and the majority of the public figures also are feminists or support most of their thoughts. The problems are the evangelicalists and the conservatives who always try to diminish and harm the movement, and they are the majority of our congress. And Eduardo Cunha is the president of our Chamber of Deputies and he already done two illegal maneuvers against our democracy, he is one of our biggest problems. Luckily, he's involved with Operation: Car Wash, the biggest economic scandal since Mensalão, and I hope he gets arrested.
