Ok, at first I was like this for real? It is. Crazy huh?
Should he have held back? Also, how does a team only score 2 points you think? Just seems unreal.

@transformers1024 What was the first, if you don't mind me asking?
I think eviscerating a team could be done without but a suspension is disproportionate, they should quietly tell him to stop organizing his team with so much focus. (Now I'm no expert on sports and maybe every team was striving to win at all costs, in which case it's just bad luck).
He should try to win and win comfortably but that's just abnormal, although he shouldn't be punished.
In fairness, he obviously had an outstanding team judging from their next game and he did put on the bench players, so he tried to keep it fair.
@alphaq: Here's the link to it ---> http://www.comicvine.com/forums/off-topic-5/building-snowmen-is-a-sin-o-o-1635400/#8
Apparently building snowmen is a sin.. I even called it on post #10 saying that will be the dumbest thing I'll hear all week and so far I was right.
@transformers1024 Thanks, I'm pretty compulsive when it comes to things like this. Like if someone says this was the second best comment they ever read I would just have to know what the first is.
@fallingcliffs: safety. I guess they took a knee in the endzone to run out the clock or the other team got a safety.
Edit- it was basketball? Damn.
Anyway, as far as this story is concerned, they're not professionals. Why are you running up the score on a bunch of kids? You won the game, put in your bench or call for suspension.
No need to fracture egos.
@superguy1591: He put in his bench at the second half. I still think it was unsportsmanlike.
@alphaq haha, I remember you...used to post on MKO right?

was about to say was Basketball man lol
I think the coach of the losing team was just being a poor sport, so he had to go and piss on the other coach's parade. And he must be a horrible coach if his team is winless, so he really needs to shut the hell up. No one should care about his opinion.
Pretty sure the coach of the losing side is suppose to be fired after his bosses find out team is losing and or he quits the team after he is called up by a professional NBA Basketball team that has an opening for him and his ex wife expresses interest him in again, causing him to abandon the lovable but useless bunch of kid misfits he has come to love and appreciate. Said team is American of course, has one really tall kid, one really overweight kid, a black kid, possibly an Asian kid, one of the kids is really nerdy and timid, one of the kids is really angry, one of the kids is like the size of NFL linebacker but never speaks, one kid is girl who wants to show she is as good as the boys, and one kid has no parents and therefore the team captain.
Then yeah they did lose 162 to 2, but once their fired/quit coach realizes they need him back, and they get new team uniforms and bond as a team, they will come back and win all their games, get into the finals and win the final with the help of a Golden Retriever that can also play Basketball and a Killer Whale that jumps over the stadium at half time to offer encouragement and show that if they really believe in themselves they can win! Mighty Ducks are go!
He was suspended because the other team sucked?
Lovely.

Your comment reminded me of this Cracked Video:
@thetruebarryallen: Heh heh that was awesome. Thank you for sharing! I actually felt bad for the good team, I wonder if any movies have tried to make that side the sympathetic team and the "lovable misfits" the antagonists.
That will teach kids to try their best.
"Okay kids, I know you want to play basketball, but don't score anymore, it isn't nice to win or play at your best".

I have no idea, but it'd be a great idea for a film, you should write it and make it big :)
One of the kids in my friends Screenwriting class wrote a movie about what happened to the good team after they lost to the Underdogs, pretty much all of their lives went into a downward spiral due to how that game panned out, it was a cool concept.
@thetruebarryallen: That is an amazing concept.
Git gud or git rekt
In all seriousness though, that seems like a harsh punishment for simply being better than the other team, maybe they could have gone out of their way to not win by such a large score but still... it just doesn't seem right to me.
The other team's coach could have forfeited the game. Silly reason for a suspension. I wouldn't have held back at all. The other team shouldn't be in the league.
That will teach kids to try their best.
That's unsportsmanlike conduct. That's why he was suspended. The game was already won at about 50-2.
That's the referee's fault.
@sophia89: I know it's supposed to be about fun but some coaches regardless of the sport go hardcore, act like it's their life on the line...
