I'm caught in the middle of a family rift and its completely and utterly tearing me apart on the inside. How do I cope?

Try talking to other family members that are feeling the same as u..
Talk to a friend u trust & if u still feel the same nothing wrong with seeking profesional help imo..Best of luck & i hope all ends well..

A little info on the rift would help so we don't give you counter productive advise though some will give you that any way
