Hello, Vine. It's me, NiteFly.

Wow. Been a while. Looking at the user rankings it looks like I haven't been doing my due diligence. Seeing the last year I did anything doesn't help either...

Came around for the first time in a while tonight. Things have been in the suck for quite a while. Still a grad student. It feels like a constant state of limbo. I've been getting optimistic lately. Perhaps I really might get out into the real world. Or some tiny ivy tower where I can do what I've always wanted to do--teach. I'm projecting a graduation date of next year! Spring, maybe summer? Could this be it?

Anyway, I've lurked around the vine a while back. I guess I just stopped checking in because I felt a little bad about never having the time to participate. Research takes a whole lot of time. Who knew getting an advanced degree would take work?

I wonder if anyone will read this... I feel like a relic from comicvine that has long since passed... Either way, thought I'd put an update on the ol' blag that didn't have a 9 at the end of it ; ) Maybe things are actually getting better. Maybe I will start to find the time to work on vine content again : )

I'm honestly not sure. Like I said, I lurked for a while. As to the last time I did something active? Again not sure. I was one of the early adopters. I remember seeing a Digg post about the vine and I thought I'd check it out. I was like "whatever, that's what Wiki is for." Then I came back. And I liked it. And I watched. And I liked it. And I signed up for an account. And I started posting stuff. And I kept posting stuff. I guess it is pleasing to see that I'm still on the first page of the top contributers list ; )

But I digress. An answer to your question? My last blog post is dated 2009, so probably somewhere around there? Let's put it this way: long enough that I suspect that just about no one around here knows who I am : (

Thats a new thing where any user can moderate images...not sure how that works exactly. Or if it works.
