Heard any good new albums lately ?

Would you say the new Mastadon album is as good as any of their older stuff? I completely forgot they came out with one.

I like Arch Enemy's new album. Alissa is really good (not that I all ready wasn't a fan). Not as guttural as Angela but I don't think anyone ever will be. "Avalanche" is my favorite song and one of the better the band has done imo.

@darthaznable: Hard to say I don't what to automatically say no because of how much I love the older stuff. It's a good album and well worth a listen.

@fallschirmjager: That's an album I must check out as long as it has catchy ass riffs I will be happy.

I came for Julian vocals, suffice to say, I was disappointed.

The Amott brothers never disappoint.

Vince Staple's Hell Can Wait was sick and showed that the dude has a lot of promise. Year of the Wolf by Game was messy at times but I think it showed that he can make something special out of Documentary 2. Currently going through Paperwork by T.I since it just came out today, and I'm pretty impressed thus far.

PUN INTENDED! But yeah, T.I more or less let the Mustard beat and Iggy do all the work there.

Actually. I think War Eternal is my favorite album in awhile from Arch Enemy. I thought Khaos Legions was okay, really. Root of All Evil was awesome, but it was just Angela singing old material so I don't count that.

So I think its my favorite since Rise of the Tyrant, which was way back in 07 (damn lol). Blood on Your Hands is one of my favorite songs of theirs. Top 3-5.

The last album I listened to by them start to finish was Anthems Of Rebellion LOL just heard songs here and there.

My favorite song of all time from them is still "Enemy Within"

Flatbush Zombies x The Underachivers "Clockwork Indigo" and Vince Staples "Hell Can Wait" EP are two recent projects I like a lot. I have been hearing good things about Logic's "Under Pressure" since it leaked but I don't really like dude so ill probably sleep on it.

Mustang (by Electric Six) was ok.

Paperwork was pretty good.

Of course. As I said in the earlier post, Angela's guttural voice is just perfect. But I've been a fan of Alissa for a while and she did a good job. Her voice is higher, but that's not something you can necessarily "fix"

Ty Segall's Manipulator.

Rise by Skillet was decent. But not very good.

But none of this is Self-titled / Iowa levels. Not even AHiG level (I still think Gematria is their most underrated song. It never gets any attention, never got a single despite being way better than Psychosocial and they never play it live)

I for one actually really enjoyed the MMLP2.

I know that's not exactly new, but it's new enough I think.
