Whether it was a bully or an arguement or whatever, have you? How did it feel? Do you regret it? Why or why not?
Have you ever used violence to solve your problems?
yes i have many times.
I can't remember most of the time i black out but then there are people on the floor
yes and no to the regret
why because i can't remember doing anything, but i don't regret that i did it.
Gotten in a few fights. I was picked on in HS, and that solved my problems pretty quick. Got attacked by a drunk with a knife in college, that had only one way out.
Not to mention my deployments over seas.
Yeah, I've been violent when I need to be.
@amazingwebhead: Reliance?
@amazingwebhead: Reliance?
Yes, that works too
@amazingwebhead: alliance? Defiance? Reliance? Appliance?
-_- can't seem to think of any more man
@cattlebattle: Violence is always a solution, rarely a good solution but always a solution.
Killed some wasps.
Violence has never really solved anything. Has it?
Uh, yeah. It's solved lots of stuff.
Also, pacifism is a surprising position with somebody for a skull and crossbones avatar.
Nah, I'm not a violent dude at all. I grew up around a lot of violence and I've always personally avoided it.
Yes, I have.
How did it feel?
Terrifying.
Do you regret it?
No.
Why or why not?
It was necessary to protect someone I care about. It was pure instinct. I've thought about it many times since; more because I didn't enjoy it and am a little afraid of what I am capable of when put in that position. I do know I made the right decision and I'd do it again. I've learned to trust my instincts a lot more because of it, too.
1. Mmmh it happened.
2. Frightning.
3. Yeah, I could have wasting my life in the long terms and I could have killed someone who doesn't even deserve I would notice him at all.
4. The guy was a bully, he wanted my food and I was hungry. I know it's silly, but food is off limit for me. You can steal my clothes, strike me, but you cannot steal my food or interrupt my eating. Ever.
Group of drunks trying to bash down the doors of the Hotel I managed at for after hours drinks at our residents bar; group of bouncers(doormen) that I allowed to have a few drinks after work and I went out front and hurt the, No regrets.
While living in Bristol a guy tried mugging me with a knife, left a cut down my arm; broke his motorbike helmet visor in his face; slight regret as it did a lot of damage but the knife had been going for my throat.
My TV was really shitty once, so I slammed it a few times and it went well again. So there you go, I solved an electronic malfunction with violence.
Whether it was a bully or an arguement or whatever, have you? How did it feel? Do you regret it? Why or why not?
1) Yes.
2) Sometimes regret, sometimes satisfaction, satisfaction irritation.
Regret if it is affective action, satisfaction if it is concious action, irritation if it is forced action.
3) In most cases - not.
4) Yeah, why not?
Also, pacifism is a surprising position with somebody for a skull and crossbones avatar.
