@darkazrael999: We married. We made a go of it for about five years. Sadly army deployments and the issues that arise with going to war had me emotionally distant. We did eventually split. We are amicable and I'd still do anything for her.

I guess it turned out well enough given the circumstances and complications. Not as well as I would like, but such is life.

Technically I'm re-dating someone right now, have been for about 4 months and it's been great. I think that sometimes it's a bad idea though. Like you break up for a reason. But other times, like in my situation, the time apart just kinda helps you realize what you really want, what works and what doesn't and can help get rid of the issues you were having in the first place.

Does it count if you just have sex with them once post-breakup?
