This is a story I found interesting. Hasbro has partnered with Shapeways to create a website that allows the uploading and selling of 3D printed art designs made by fans. That's right, this is a company officially marketing fan creations and letting their fans make money off of them. At the moment, it's only Hasbro and their products. But I suspect that in the future, other companies might follow suit if this proves to be profitable for Hasbro.
