Tom Cruise is much much much more entertaining actor than Harrison Ford. Though I will take my hat off for the Indiana Jones movies, however the Mission Impossible trilogy was better in my eyes.
Honestly, while Tom has had some highlights as a dramatic actor (Magnolia), Ford has had the better overall career. Plus Ford has something Cruise never will: Class.

Ford: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Fugitive, Blade Runner, Gunsmoke, American Graffiti, The Mod Squad, Kung-Fu, Apocalypse Now, Patriot Games, Clear And Present Danger, Presumed Innocent, Air Force One, What Lies Beneath...
Cruise: Why bother, he's alright but none of them measure up to Fords credentials.

Harrison Ford, by a landslide. That being said, I think Tom Cruise has a pretty damn good career, but to compare to Indiana Jones and Han Solo, you've gotta be somebody extraordinary.

This....not to mention the President from Air Force One...Lieutenant Colonel Mike Barnsby , Rick Deckard, jack Ryan, and the dude from Firewall. That's some srious a$$kiking.
