Happy St Patrick's Day!
Just wishing everyone a great St Patrick's Day
Anti-St. Patrick day cause now a days it makes no sense -_-
It's just an excuse to drink now.. I bet a great deal of people don't even know who St. Patrick was or why they celebrate it.. just like many people don't know who St. Valentine was
St. Patrick day is suppose to be a day to honor St Patrick solidifying Christianity on Ireland not to test the limits of your liver!
Dresses in black and holds a bat in case someone dares to try to pinch him >_>
I agree that most holidays, Valentines and St. Patty's most especially, are just reasons to celebrate and party now
but what's wrong with that?
I think we should all take whatever chance we can to enjoy ourselves and celebrate our friends
whatever the reason
so........HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!!!!

I understand what you mean completely. But its also a day for people of Irish Decent to celebrate their heritage. While I am Irish/ American Indian I use the day to celebrate my diverse roots. The pinching thing is just a plus :P
Btw he was actually from what is now known as Scotland, as a person of Scottish decent I always like to point out that the world's most famous Irishman was Scottish technically
Also I'd like to point out that In America March is Irish-American Heritage Month. So we not only have a day but a whole Month :D
@Shadowdoggy:
Unless either of you go to church for christmas day and wish jesus a happy birthday this is no way to talk down St Patrick's day. "Celebration" is an excuse to test your own liver. and there are many things to be celebrated, like St Patricks day.... and christmas...
The activity on St. Patricks day is a celebration of culture. Whether we crack a beer, drink whiskey, wear green, or run around dressed as leprechauns, we are celebrating St. Patrick. While some may not know who he is they know his name. I'm sure That's a big deal for a 4th Century man who was kidnapped, taken to ireland, escaped back to Roman Britian, and later returned to preach Christianity. Most Saint's don't receive that much recognition.
