Movies adapted from video games does not have a good track record. Though I am optimistic about this one. Its premise (plain ol war) is made for a blockbuster unlike most beat-em-up to movie releases.
District 9 was the offspring of what was supposed to be Halo. Earlier clips on Youtube previewed what Halo was going to look like on the silver screen. This movie isn't happening for a few years at least. I am a massive Halo fan, but I'm not getting my hopes up. My only hope is for Spielberg to stay attached to the film.
I personally can't wait for this. These games do deserve a movie that will hopefully do them justice. I doubt its coming as early as 2012 but I'm sure it this project is gathering speed slowly. Anyways I'm sure it'll be good.

When i was little I liked it. Cuz u know, I was a kid. But now........ idk.... The only thing good about that movie is that they got a pretty good dude to play Mario.
