Why and how did he die? It's troubling to know that supposedly healthy people have to die like this? I mean you have to take complete physicals and normal check ups in order to play sports so how did this happen? Was it drugs? I mean I'm sure if it were heart failure problems or anything of that matter, doctors would have spotted it right away, right?

He died from Cardiac Arrest from an enlarged heart or something like that. Very sad and ironic maybe he shouldn't have made that game winning shot in the first place.

Yeah, he definitely didn't have daily ecos done like me. I was born with a heart defect, hole in the heart that closed up just about but is STILL there but centimeters small. I get them done every other year just to keep an eye on it as instructed, I could have gotten it closed or get it closed but doctors told me it's my choice and it's too small to cause anything but keep an eye on it at least once every few years but I get it done every other year.

If this kid had daily eco cardiograms done he would have been ok, regular doctor visits mean nothing you have to have ecos done or go to a heart doctor for something like this.
