"SCOTTSDALE, AZ - A Valley grandfather says he was booted out of the children's section of a Scottsdale Barnes & Noble simply because he's a man. Omar Amin, 73, is a Valley doctor and was shopping for his two grandchildren at the store off of Loop 101 and Shea Boulevard in Scottsdale. Amin said he was approached by an employee who told him that men weren't allowed to be in the children's book section by themselves. He said he was shopping for books for his two grandchildren who live in Wisconsin, when he received a phone call. That call was interrupted by a store manager who told him he had to leave the store. While the two were talking, Amin received a phone call from Barnes & Noble's corporate office. The company apologized to Amin and said the employee would be reprimanded. Amin told ABC15's Tim Vetscher that he wants a public apology from the employee with the cameras rolling."
