It's been reported that Cliff Robertson has died just one day after his 88th Birthday. Most well known in later years playing Uncle Ben in the Sam Raimi Spider-man trilogy he had previously won an Oscar in the 1968 film Charly about a mentally disabled man who undergoes and experiment and subsequently acquires genius intellect.
