Awesome scenes in bad movies:

This movie sucks but I think that is one of the most badass things I have seen in my life. Of course they don't team up in a final awesome battle like they should have.

If you haven't seen this movie (which I doubt you haven't) just watch this scene. It will save you a lot of time.

Another Star Wars entry. Yoda catching Duku's lightning force is awesome, and I like how Aniken and Duku fight in the dark. Pretty awesome scene.

I don't hate this movie. I think it's OK at best. I dislike it more than I like it though, so I'm putting it here anyway.

Bad scenes in good movies

Weirdly shot scene that happens to be really homo erotic and uses slow mo. Plus, Gandalf's laugh. WTF

No matter how much I love this movie I can't defend this scene. Unnecessary, I saw what they were trying to do, but I feel like Clark could have gotten the dog without using his powers.

Thats the best quality I could get. The scene isn't on youtube. Anyway, did no one think thats a little odd how Peter showed an amazing feat of strength and then broke physics?

Anyway I probably missed a bunch so post any I did miss in the comments.

The only reason anyone should watch Game of Death is the only orginal footage of Bruce Lee in the end fight scenes. (okay, the opening credits are pretty good, too)

However, you can now watch the full 40 minutes Bruce filmed before he died rather than the pitiful 11 minutes that got into Game of Death.

The uncut version is rather excellent, in my opinion. I was rather surprised by the levels of gore.

Good scenes in bad movies

Superman Returns was a boorefest... Except for that scene where a thug is repeteadly firing a machine gun to Supes then decides to fire point-blank in his eye, only to bounce it off. Best scene in that movie.

The fight sequences in the Star Wars prequels were cool though... The story was subpar at really best, but I really like the lightsaber duels.

Bad scenes in good movies

The final destruction in Man of Steel; I loved that movie otherwise, I think the final battle of Zod and Superman could have being shortened. But it goes longer than it needed.

Bad scene good TV miniseries: The ending to Hatfields and McCoys. From the McCoy view, Randall accidentally burns himself to death, and Frank Phillips acts stupid and gets shot. From the Hatfield side... a happy scene of Devil Anse being baptized with his family around him.

While this is mostly historically accurate, were they just trying to rub it in or something?

It was nice to see an Autobot actually get killed for a change in the Bay films. And it was a pretty cool death scene too. One of the main Autobot's too Lenord Nimroy as Sentinel was cool as well.

If he would have offed the little yellow buger to it would have made the scene better.

Despite it not being a very good movie, and has been mostly panned by everyone, Ang Lee's Hulk at least managed to give us this classic scene of Hulk vs Military Hardware:
