how many "godly" viners are there?
"God" viners
I see you read my post about boring Omega-levelers and were inspired to start this thread.Don't bother denying I have Omega level telepathy and Precognition ion real life.heh.
Anyways, my favorite characters are the ones that are original, make sense, and have limits to their powers.
Lets say your character can become lightning, why can they also heal others and control the darkforce to create weapons and alter reality( which covers all the other powers I just mentioned ) and they are a master of 65 forms of combat, because they have photographic reflexes. Without the best origin story ever this equals Kee-Rap. Or at least to me.
I think it is the main reason I was apprehensive to rpg battle in the past. It's like Nightcrawler vs the Beyonder. You know the outcome and youknow it's boring.
Hm...debating wise ,EC, Buckshot, Gambler.
RPG wise : Gambler, DC, EC and that's all the RPers I've read so far.

LMAO! Those hippie colrs. XD
SilentStorm says:
"Gambler says:"To many"**agrees with gambler by nodding his head** "
we both agree.
Sha says:
"Buckshot says:"I thought this was a thread about me. Feh."somebody is full of their self lol"
I am not ashamed to embrace my awesomeness.
Well, the source of my character, Hero's, power is divine and limitless (as far as the basics go, STR, SPD, and INV) but Gordon himself is a regular joe. Does that count?

lol
I was just looking a some one's bio. And I don't necessarily think they would want my help in "trimming the fat" but here it goes, because tey are an example of what is the god-problem.
Their powers seem to focus primarily out of pain. They can create swords from pain they have untold strength, and can permanently mimic any power. There's more but thats already too much.
If the pain thing is a big part of their character they should ditch the overlypowered power mimic thing and tie the untold strength in with the pain thing. So the greater their pain external and internal the stronger they become and the more powerful their blades, but they have a pain threshhold so that when they exceed it the blackout or die or whateever, and with each battle that threshold can increase, reasonably. That is a character I would battle, the other not so much...
My 2 cents.

We know who you're talking about I think. Me I'm not a god anymore like the Grim Reaper but my powers can be considered godly. I'm not overpowered though.
Well I think it's all a question of how a character is handled. For example, my character could potentially perform godly acts with her powers, but her state of mind (delirium) makes it so that she cannot use her powers to their full potential. Sadly I haven't done RPG battles yet, so I can't exactly show what I mean.
Another example would be EC, who also had godly potential, but who never god-mods or kills his enemies in one post (although, most of the time, he could). He fights fairly and uses a fraction of his powers that usually equals his enemy's power level.
A last example would be a powerless character who behaves like a god. Just because someone has a mortal, non-superpowered character doesn't mean they won't god-mod or perform incredibly complicated feats or decide they dodge all their enemies' attacks without ever taking a hit. This is actually nearer to my definition of a "God" Viner.
