Girls, what's the most important thing you want from a guy?

First thing you want to know before you start a serious relationship is whether he is gay or not.

Well, if the guy's approaching you (/them- are you a girl?), then that'd imply that they're not gay. If you're a girl, what of these things would be most likely to convince you to say yes, if the guy asked you if you'd be willing to enter into a relationship with them? (And conversely, which of the above wouldn't influence your decision at all- for instance, would no amount of romance be enough to win your heart over?)

I am not a female, but I have been mistaken for one on this website plenty of times, I hope that entitles me to post at least.

I don't think you can reduce peoples attractiveness to others into separate general categories, at least not in practice, any individual can consider that by asking themselves about what they themselves find important in another person. Usually its a combination of things with no one clear attribute that stands alone. Guys and girls generally want someone they are attractive to physically, but people will actually view others as more physically attractive if they are funny, or charismatic, kindness and respect also aren't the same as building a friendship either. Even in a theoretical sense, some poll options that might be worth grouping with above would be humor and intelligence. Add "humor, intelligence and outgoing and motivated personality" to any of the options above and I'd say it would clear favorite. I'd imagine girls like guys though, most of all, want some combination of everything. The combination part being more important than any single 'important' attribute.

I'm a celibate decades old monk who lives in a monastery populated by genderless robots though, so what would I know? Well aside from things involving genderless robots or celibacy. If you glue them together when they are powered down, they do not suddenly become a fully functioning transformed super giant genderless robot, they sort of just flail around and make beeping noises.

Sounds like you're both really trusting and really young; you'd literally allow some random guy who approaches you to hold your purse upon his request? Usually, if a guy is interested or reaching for a woman's purse, it's not a good thing that's about to transpire?

I suspected that, because I usually never display any of those characteristics in introducing myself to a woman, because I wait for her or other people to start a conversation with me, than I'm assumed to be gay by women now day and age?
