With all the talk and arguments over evolution and creationism or Superman vs goku, I decided to make something a bit more lighthearted. An age old discussion that has circulated for years.

Who do you think is the dominant sex? Who comes out on top in the end? Speak your mind. No equality. Battle of the sexes.

Who's contributed more? Athleticism? Agility? Anything you can think of.

I'd rather be around women than men, most men I'm around (who aren't my friends, talking about strangers here) are pig headed/jock idiots. Of course, this is just a generalization of the guys I've seen.

@mrdecepticonleader: Well Comicvine is supposed to be a kid freindly site that's why cursing is considered" unapropiate".It does not really matter to me if you have to curse that bad why not blank it out?But whatever people can do as they like.

As a male, I'm going to have to say women have it harder...

Not trying to sound Sexist, but Men effortlessly win both rounds.I mean sure there are females who have contributed a lot to humanity but there are more men than woman who have contributed.

Girls FTW! Evidently I think ... ? Does this discussion need to go on? I am willing to provide reasons for those that aren't sure.

Men have contributed more to civilizations than women for the same reason that white people have than other ethnicities; they've had the opportunity too. The majority of important decisions are and have been made made by males. Same with the majority of wealth holding and contributions to art, medicine, science, entertainment, and philosophy. If we're going by (disgutingly off-putting) supremecistic definiton, males would be the "superior" gender by feats only.

Personally, I don't think equality really works in the gender context. I like to think of men and women as apples and bananas - two different fruits that go well together and make the smoothie taste much better as opposed to only one fruit. But that you can't really compare the two because they're different, distinct fruits with their own strengths.

Ok, the fruit smoothie metaphor is stupid, but you get the point!

As for which gender is the 'dominant sex'? I guess men, more or less. We live in a patriarchal world and a largely male-dominated society.
