Friends

Is it better to have lots of casual friends, or just a couple really close friends? 
 
I don't have much emotional baggage or anything, but recently I went through a difficult time and I came to realize that while I have a bunch of friends there wasn't one person that I could really depend on in the way I expected. I mean, I thought there was until then. But I realized that I wasn't as close to them as I would have liked, and that isn't something you can just change overnight. Hope that made sense.

i have a couple casual friends and im just fine with that. no emotional baggage what so ever

I'v got a few friends that im willing to get my head kicked in for.

I have many friends.But i can count on one hand my best friends ie - can call anytime of the day or night if ive got a problem :-)
