Anybody listen to music with lyrics in different languages? I myself love to listen to Spanish bands. Maná, Juanes, Sin Bandera and Mago de Oz are some of my favorites. I've also listened to a bit of K-pop and J-pop but not a lot.

What about you? Name some of your favorite non English musicians/groups/bands.

I listen to Thai music since, although I live in the US, it was my first language.

Now that a few years ago I've gotten to learning how to read the language I can sing lyrics sheets too; it was always more of a pain to remember lyrics auditorially, being more of a visual learner. With Thai I listen to all genres and time periods, same with English songs.

I listen to Spanish music, as well as some J-Pop because of shows that I watch.

@retconcrisis: Cool. I've never listened to Thai music. Any artists in particular you enjoy?

@rouflex: Wow cool. Where are you from?

@ordinaryalan: I don't really follow any artists, but my mother is a fan of a singer called Gun (Napat Injaieua) the Star, who I really like because he actually has both good songs and good vocals. But overall I just listen to whatever I find.

Pretty much just soundtracks to different anime. My favorite Japanese band is High and Mighty Color (with Makii) and Maximum the Hormone.

Many metal bands sing in their native tongues. The languages other than English I hear most would be Swedish and Norwegian but really my music genre of choice has a world-wide address.

Hey op, I also listen to music in spanish. A few of them are Maná, Jaguares, Shakira, and the Banda, Norteño, Ranchero, and Mariachi genres. I also listen to some German bands like Rammstein, Megaherz and Eisbrecher. Then there's some French songs I like by Jacque Brel, Yves Duteil, and Edith Piaf.

I listen to a lot of Woodkid and he's French; however, I don't recall how much of his native language he uses in his music.
